  1. Pretty cheap for something that presents so well. https://www.ebay.com/itm/VAMPIRELLA-1-Detatched-Cover-COMIC-BOOK-WARREN-MAGAZINE-1969-1st-Appearance-/234317423823?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276
  2. Did you guys see the new Eerie Pub book coming out? https://fantaco.net/eerie-publications-the-complete-covers-the-whole-bloody-mess-hardcover/?fbclid=IwAR0BgSJoED-44KKjsKFjrHOEf6aLJqU5k0GwPWPKX-_qBVhRWXwgg3z9dqs
  3. And one ore focusing on everything Frazetta.
  4. Here is another very good recourse. But it won't be cheap.
  5. You might as well just expand that list to all Warren Frazetta covers. Good starting spot.
  6. Somewhere in here is a thread discussing what is considered the must haves for magazines.
  7. If you stick to grades that high there are some you will never come across. Or if you do the will be extremely expensive. Like anything, get what suits your collecting needs/goals.
  8. Because I'm lazy I will just go with this picture. Started my Famous Funnies collection this year.
  9. Does that mean you have to pay shipping twice?
  10. In that guy's defense (and i have no idea who it is) CGC did lose his cards, apparently low balled him on compensation and then agreed to pay market value after he filed a complaint.
  11. I figured everyone would know that was Dylan. Just missing the toilet picture.
  12. Look what I found: CGC damaged my 2 valuable comic books that were worth $100k and are now only worth $40k; I am seeking compensation as insurance as they are liable. CGC accepted my two Amazing Fantasy 15s with fully-attached-covers for walk-through grading and damaged both of them by fully detaching the covers. This resulted in a decline in value of about $60k, according to the CGC labels I packaged these very carefully and paid over $2k to grade because of insurance, where CGC now refuses to pay.. They've said that my irrefutable "before" pictures are not "convincing." They have refused to show me their video that was a part of their contract at the time that I sent books into them for grading. There is sworn testimony from the guy who "pressed" them (industry accepted clean+flatten) as to the state of the comic books. They detached both staples of both books and have committed fraud among other illegal activities. Desired Outcome $60k in financial compensation and or Public Apology the video tape of them opening the package
  13. Yikes. I sent them 15 cards to grade on March 12th 2021. If they each graded high, it would roughly, all together, be around 10 grand worth. I have contacted them numerous times, just to get a reply that they have received them and they are backed up, to be patient. I contacted them again today, October 6th 2021, they replied telling me that they "lost" all of my cards, and they were going to send me $1,395 for the loss. This is theft! My guess, they graded them high, knew what they could sell them for, and told me they lost them. This is insane and not a good business to deal with. They are dealing with high market items. How do you just lose something like that? Lame excuse, saying they switched locations and lost it in the move. Desired Outcome Finish the job; Delivery; Billing adjustment R Certified Guaranty Company LLC Response 10/07/2021 CGC apologizes for Customer's cards being lost. CGC is resolving the issue with Customer and compensating him for their fair market value so he can replace them and then have them graded at no charge. This remedy will put him back in the position he would be but for our mistake. Again, CGC apologizes to the Customer for this situation.
  14. Just an empty inner well with a shipping label slapped on it.
  15. My brain is having a hard time accepting this. Are we saying someone sent in a book for a signing, they forgot to have him sign it, and then they put it in a yellow label?
  16. Right. How about instead of adding emojis and talking about grading contests they actually address this thread. One can only dream.
  17. I have heard this as well. But I have a hard time believing at this point they don't have enough magazines to warrant some of the machines being set up for magazines full time.
  18. Picked out and mailed!!!!!!! Just kidding. I will mail it last minute and hope for the best.
