  1. It has to go up to $3M to take the first place in my "top auction prices" page (2.65M€ for the Tintin pages allegedly bought by an American collector) ... but I'm quite sure it will do it!
  2. Probably the same Ryan Brown in this Catawiki auction. It sold for 569€ (+9% buyer fee) six months ago.
  3. The question is "why can't they provide a scan ?" I guess it's not for a lack of time or resources, so does it mean that they don't have the artwork physically? If that's the case, how can they/we be sure of the accuracy of the description, condition of the artwork, etc?
  4. Do I really have to answer? https://comicarttracker.com/history?query=uncanny-153 You can at least keep an eye on this page: https://comicarttracker.com/ebay-auctions for popular stuff
  5. this one? https://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=494350 https://comicarttracker.com/history?query=silver-surfer-splash

  7. Hello everyone! Holidays is a good time to work on ComicArtTracker, and I have a few new features to present! First new feature: Artists, Characters, and Series now have their own dedicated pages! At a glance, you can see some of the best sold and available original art for many of the most popular searches. Click on the top right button in a page if you want to be notified of similar new art. There is more than 2000 pages, so feel free to tell me if there's something wrong on any of them... or if I forgot someone / something (with enough original art to display ^^)! https://comicarttracker.com/artists-characters-and-series Second enhancement: search for past sales is no longer limited to 2 months. You now get access to the whole ComicArtTracker database -- more than 900,000 artworks! However, price display is still limited to the last 2 months... To see the sold price, simply click through to the source page. https://comicarttracker.com/history Last point, I finally created a Facebook page for ComicArtTracker ... I will mainly use this page to announce new features, new sources added and things like that. But who knows, if it works well I might consider new ideas as well. And to have something to start with, I added a few new sources lately (mainly artists) and there is a few more to come. If you know of a source that should be indexed in CAT, please tell me! https://fb.me/ComicArtTracker Hope you enjoy ComicArtTracker and will find new pages you like!
  8. Thanks for pointing out this issue. It came from one of the results being wrongly encoded (encoding is really painful for developers ^^) ... It should be fixed now! Tell me. https://comicarttracker.com/search?query=bob-montana
  9. I sold and traded a few pages last year but I kept my favorites!
  10. There's a few more on eBay: https://comicarttracker.com/search?query=Hornschemeier
  11. Hi @Catwoman_Fan Thanks for your feedback. I do see the new artworks for the two websites you mention, which probably means that you excluded these sources. Did you check your settings here? https://comicarttracker.com/en/settings?sources In all cases, I'll improve the pages: you should either be warned on the "new art by source" page that you excluded these sources, or see the art (and be warned that you won't see this art on searches, notifications, and so on) on the source page itself. Probably a combination of the two. And thanks to your message I see that I have a problem to get the images from Comic Art Store Nico
  12. That's right, 22k... You can still see it on ComicArtTracker (and on CAF) https://comicarttracker.com/go/vTwUcE4B
  13. ex-aequo with Art Adams Mutants X-Men illustration
  14. https://www.facebook.com/groups/459273764470607/ (but it's a closed group) https://www.facebook.com/craig.yoe (some related posts on his page)
  15. On one hand some of you say he's a rep and does not necessarily have the art with him, and on the other hand some other say it's easier to catch him at a con and flip through art. There's something I don't understand. But at least I now have an idea why he's the ONLY dealer to have blacklisted ComicArtTracker servers... maybe it's because it gave him too much work
  16. Did you guys pay someone to give them a lesson? Their website crashed!

  18. As @BCarter27 said, you can see results here: https://comicarttracker.com/comicconnect-auctions/2018-12-10 You can also: start from this page https://comicarttracker.com/comicconnect-auctions to access both yesterday's results (or is it still today for you?) and today's auction start from this page https://comicarttracker.com/auctions/results to see all recent auction results
  19. Marini art for sale at galery 9eme Art... https://comicarttracker.com/galerie-9eme-art/new-original-art
  20. Sold for $9000 in April '17 https://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=739141
  21. Thanks for your message, and for pointing out this regression bug. It should still be possible to go directly to the item, I'll see to fix this as soon as possible! (in fact it's already fixed - for tomorrow - for items that are on the first tab, it's much more complex if it's in tab 2 or more). In the meantime, you can use the text filter (at the bottom of the filters box on the left) to find your artwork in the page opened when clicking on the link.
  22. @Panelfan1 answered better than I could do: the idea is not to sell all pages at $25k but to make high prices look like bargains. And I'm not even sure that Batman published pages will be available for sale: Marini posted a video on Facebook a few days ago (can't find it :-/ ), showing artworks "he was selecting for the coming sale" and it was only illustrations / commissions-like drawings. He also often publish on Facebook about drawings he does quickly in 10mn while drinking his morning coffee and sells 800-1000€. So it might be easier to offer such unpublished commissions at 1-2k€ (or more) when a published panel page sold $25k... https://www.facebook.com/enrico.marini.art/ https://www.instagram.com/marini_art
  23. That's clearly my thought as well, knowing that there is an exhibition / sale planned at Galerie 9ème Art in 2 weeks... http://galerie9art.fr/index.php?content=soon&i18n=en
