Last Book for tonight. The Cave Girl by Edgar Rice Burroughs Ace 09283 Undated probably 1973 or 1974 $25 SOLD to mstrange You need Savage Pellucidar 1st PB Edition, this "Tall" edition and "Luana" to have all three editions of this image but you do need them all to have the complete Luana set Very Fine/Very Fine Plus. A spectacular fresh glossy copy with virtually no wear. She's purty.

House Of Sorcery by Carter Brown Signet D3218 First Edition First Printing. August 1967 $30 SOLD to Ghostzapper Smokin' cover.. literally imho. Wrapping this thread up with a couple of what I think are the finest. I'm a sucker for a sultry dame with a cigarette and light on the clothes Very Fine. Super glossy. A couple of little things here and there. A killer copy of one of McGinnis' best Carter Brown covers. I can't get my phone to download the back cover pic but it's not dissapointing !

The Puppet Masters by Robert Heinlein Signet #980 First Printing December 1952 $30 SOLD to Ghostzapper Very nice copy of the 1st pb with the awesome Stanley Meltzoff cover art. Tough to find like this. Very Fine Minus/Very Fine. A pretty astonishing copy of an early Signet Heinlein. Square, glossy and unread, only a couple spots of wear.

Worlds Of Weird Selected by Leo Margulies Jove Books A4826 September 1978 $60 SOLD to N e r V 2nd appearance of Margaret Brundage's iconic "Batwoman" cover in wraps after the October 1933 original. If CGC ever grades vintage pb's An important 1970's pb. Virgil Finlay interiors. Very Fine. Tiny crack line in spine that must be factory as this copy is unread with only the lightest edgewear and surface wear.

Super glossy and fresh. Square and tight with excellent page quality. Little bits of wear here and there. That's not wear you see on the spine edge, it's the blinding gloss reflection A killer of one of his top line Good Girl covers.

From the High Grade Collection. Very Fine minus. Just some hairline creasing, light edgewear and a small paper split on the spine. Great colors and gloss like so many books from this collection.

Batman The Best of the Original Batman Signet D2939 First Printing March 1966 $15 First Batman paperback. Reprints the origin and other early classics. Fine overall. Square and tight with great color. Minimal wear but has a crease that breaks color at top right, a finger bend on back and wear at the edges. Still a much better than usual copy.

Tarzan and the Lion Man by Edgar Rice Burroughs Ace F-212 1st print of the 1st US PB and the only Ace/Frazetta edition. July 1963 $20 SOLD to mstrange Frazetta Gorilla fight cover. Very Fine Minus. Glossy and super fresh. Spine is square and covers smooth with virtually no wear other than a finger bend to the front cover. Has a bit of discoloration to the page edge dye on top edge and a slight bend to the book from storage. A very attractive copy.

The Private Life Of Helen Of Troy by John Erskine Popular Library 147 1948 $50 SOLD per PM to mstrange Classic Rudolph Belarski Nipple cover. A cornerstone book, one of the most famous and reprinted covers in the hobby. Fine Plus. Square and tight, covers are smooth and uncreased, colors are bright. There's some fade to the spine, a few finger bends and light edgewear but overall a very nice looking copy of a classic.

All That Love Allows by Paul Darcy Boles. Popular Library 691 September 1955 $12 A dreamy GGA cover confection by pulp master Rafael DeSoto on this Pop. Another one with a great 2nd painting done for the back cover. Fine. Square and solid, pages tight and the book looks unread or lightly read, but downgraded for edgewear and some light cover fading and soiling, most visible in the whites.

Kiss The Night Away by C. G. Lumbard. Popular Library 640 February 1955 $12 Nice nipple GGA cover by Raymond Johnson from the period at Popular when they had 2nd paintings done for the back cover. This 2nd is a great clinch! Fine/Fine Plus. Square and solid, pages tight and off white. Spine has bindery chips at both endds and has a few light creases on the covers. An attractive copy.

The Fire Goddess by Sax Rohmer Gold Medal 283. PBO First Print December 1952 $25 SOLD to mstrange The second Sumuru novel. The artist who painted this glorious Good Girl remains uncredited however it is certainly in the style of, if not by, Barye Phillips. Fine/Fine Plus. Solid square with nice spine, glossy bold covers. Hairline reader crease and a few touches of wear. A pretty thing.
