Here are a couple flea market finds. Nothing in HG but still some bang for my buck.
This book has that "John Carpenter" feel to its cover... Made me think of They Live
And of course you can't go wrong with an early Eerie title.

I haven't been doing too much hunting these past few months. Tons of rain down here lately.
I did manage to make it out to a few Flea Markets this weekend though... and I hit up a sale at a storage unit.
First up, here are a few comics I found at a storage unit sale.
Next up, an 8mm monster flick along with an 8mm viewer (to check splices & whatnot)
Finally, a real heavy 6-inch tall cast iron bank. I love this guy.

I completely agree! Definitely a must have CA book (thumbs u
Thanks jimbo! That means a lot. I love these boards, I'm very thankful to be a part of such an amazing community.

I have a full run, minus the last two issues and #15... just wondering if #15 being reprinted has affected the value/sales of the original release? With the Neil Gaiman issues currently being reprinted, will that affect the value of those original last couple of issues with the low print run, in whoever's educated opinion?
..... there will always be a market for the genuine artifact. I don't actively collect CA slabs..... but I recently snagged a CGC 9.6 copy of MM 15 and I really love it. The book oozes with "street cred" and I love any and all Moore/Totleben stuff. It set me back almost 200 bucks..... and I'm really a GA and SA collector. Cool is Cool...... sometimes you just have to say " eff the concensus...." GOD BLESS....

What's the consensus on this book/series? I for one, love this series. It's an amazing dark tale with incredible art that managed to influence many comics that aspired to deconstruct the super hero. Issue no.15 - the epic battle with the Warpsmiths, Firedrake, Miracleman, Miraclewoman, and of course Kid Miracleman is a fight no one should miss!

Posted on FB that I will appraise and/or buy comic collections. Guy messaged me saying he has a bunch of books from the 30s and reassured me by saying "trust me they're old bro". Can't wait to see what he sends me pics of

Thanks to a boardie, I now own these 3 beautiful books
I took these photos right after I opened the package, so sorry about the lighting
I'm super excited about these books! I've been trying to find a nice HG copy of the Stark Terror mags for awhile now, and the Ghoul Tales cover is amazing as well (thumbs u

great collection of magazines...
Savage Sword, Eerie, Creepy... So many great reads with beautiful covers by Frazetta!
I've definitely been focusing more on my magazine collection this year than any other...
Finding book is like these in the wild has proved to be a daunting task. However, with some solid purchases on the board I've been able to pick up some great books as well (thumbs u

There was a batman 1 new 52 in there? Weird because who would forget about such a recent pile of good comics.
Maybe they are haunted

GoBots are pretty awesome toys... Diecast spaceships/vehicles that transform into cool looking robots!?!?! Yes please!
There are so many great ones! Only a few duds in my opinion.... There marketing for this line was all over the place. It's pretty interesting.
Great pick up (thumbs u

This thread was a great idea, don't let it fizzle out.
I think I have a Baron Harkonnen action figure somewhere... I'd offer him up for an idea like this.
I'm sure there are plenty of people with figures that would do the same!
Great thread, it's just hit bump or two...

Maybe Harv can tell us

I agree, but don't we get wrist slapped or strikes if we reboot the conversation?
I thought that was the deal, correct me if I'm wrong.
If that's not the case, I'd be more than happy to speak my mind.

Kind of glad I read all that stuff before it got scrubbed, though it did confirm some suspicions I have had for some time now.

Are there any notable differences between the Turnner Crystal & Dynamic?
How about the P9D model and the 9XM?

that's really neat! I've never seen that before. When I was a kid my brother and I had a "creepy crawlers" oven.. Same concept I guess.
Great find (thumbs u
