  1. When I get in I keep hoping someone is doing a killer sales thread, but that has yet to happen and a few minutes later I get logged back off.
  2. Well that may mean I can’t make next year. The cocktail party is the same weekend.
  3. I posted these In the Baltimore comic-con thread. Was able to land these at the show this weekend.
  4. Overall I had a great time and as @1Cool mentioned was very cool to meet him and a few others throughout the weekend. Had fun chatting with my favorite Astro's fan @MrBedrock about them and the Braves and luckily we did not jinx the Braves. I did miss @blazingbob walkaround where he shows everyone how to make money buying comics, I met at the pole outside at 9 but no one ever came. The @shortboxed meet and greet was awesome and very much appreciated. As Andrew said above, I will pencil this show in next year as well, luckily it was a bye week this year or I would have likely missed it. Getting in and out was pretty easy, although I left around 1 Saturday to drive to Philly to bring home some cheesesteaks for the family and the line to get through the checkpoint for the cleared wristband was way down the street so I am sure some people were annoyed by that. I went with not very high expectations and had 4 runs I was focused on along with 3-4 bigger books. I don't normally dig through the 2,3 or 5 boxes at shows that I fly to just due to space but did grab a good stack of $2.00 books from Victory Comics. There was plenty to offer and I was pretty happy with everything I bought, although most of what I am looking for is not your current spec or hype books. Few things I bought, 1st pic Part of the 2 dollar box books. I needed an All Star Western 11 so was pretty happy to find it in the first couple of boxes and led me to buy books I certainly did not need. The second pic is some Tomb Of Dracula books I needed to upgrade. I was able to land a Flash 105 at the show, I have been looking for one for a little while and was happy with finding one there. Showcase 4 is the other bigger book I was on the lookout for but only noticed the restored copy in the building so if there was a second copy I did not see it. That and some run fillers for TTA and Thor. Phillip
  5. Here are all the dealer pics I have on my phone, I missed several so hopefully others have pics especially on the right side of the show.
  6. It was his, the day before there was a salad or sandwich on it.
  7. Headed to the airport now, was nice to meet some boardies and hang out. Agree with what others said, lots of good deals and plenty to dig through. I will share a few pics tonight.
  8. So a few people asked about the screening. Pretty simple go through the line show your card or status and get a wristband.
  9. I will be in red and black Georgia gear buying up all the Fish Police #1’s
  10. Good luck, this was the one I had sit forever, it was heavily marked so not sure how it could have got lost. Walkthrough Delivered -Via USPS 4-16 Received-5-27 SFG-5-27 G/QC-5-28 Shipped-5-28
  11. Pretty excited, have my Star Comics need list in the luggage as backup plan should all the good stuff get gone.
  12. Good Luck, at least they found it, I had one lost for about 3 months.
  13. Someone asked about WT the other day, this is from Frank's topic in ask CGC, but you can see there are still issues getting WT boxes going.
  14. Mystery Boxes have had huge displays at the shows this year, maybe CGC is taking it to the next level.
  15. I agree with this. They did very well at the start of the spike, was pretty shocking how well and above gpa they hit. At the peak they were setting highs. Now I have mentioned before I have 21 books in my win column in this auction and all are pretty well priced.
  16. I didn’t take it that way, it is not a book I would buy honestly, I put in a $1 bid just to see what they do with the auction. Guess the joke didn’t go over as I expected it to.
  17. Ha little older. Figure my great grandkids will benefit.
