  5. I am by no means lumping this guy in with this statement below, but sort of a rant on the new sellers emerging on the "newer" platforms. This has been something that has come on fast in the past year. Mostly on the social media platforms, we have always had new folks enter buying then eventually selling and that is healthy. But there has been a glut of consigners with very little knowledge of the hobby. What pushed me away from interacting with the "big": name consigners on Instagram is a little of what went down here, no real indepth knowledge of the items they are selling, it is just a widget to them. The live sales are the best, you have a split screen with the consigner on top shouting at his clients and bidders all the rules. If they have something and you ask for a different picture or interior pics they come off as being annoyed. I have seen that especially when they host live events, when hot books are being presented they ignore questions regarding condition until they see someone claim it. This is probably not the place for sellers to "figure it out" unless they are really willing to follow feedback.
  6. Also kept the books up well after it was pointed out all the issues, grading, pricing, shipping terms, in hand etc. Those actions do not build trust.
  7. Would they be willing to risk it on coins or video games?? The seller is safe, not one person insinuated that at all, the buyer is who would be at risk.
  8. Likely, but also it just seems the whales always battle it out on HA, on every record breaking sale each month. Side note a 2.0 sold for $20,251 on CL on 5-26, so the right copies have sold for good money all year.
  9. That HA sale is highly suspect, but fact these prices will loosen up some copies.
  10. Ha half the joke. I have pulled grader notes for severely faded copies that had "slight fade".
  11. Take, I should have popped in a few days ago instead of working.
  12. Ironically, the 9.6 books I own that I did not have graded were the first ones I wanted to see, so far all have come back notes unavailable.
  13. My wife just asked, what in the world are you printing? Poor printer sounds like the old Okidata printers we used to use for finance. This is great.
