That book did well, although there was not a glut of 9.8 enter the market during the high's. Certainly the highlight of the group. I was reflecting on the other copies, the 9.6 as noted by Sweetlou. The 9.0 at 9K against a high of $15k The 8.5 at $7900 against a high of 12K The 8.0 also at $7900 against a high of $10k The 7.5 did seem to hold at $6750, still down from the 10K high Same with the 7.0 held to current prices but $5800 against a high of 9k The two that I did really notice were the 5.5 and the 5.0. The 5.5 went for $3900 with recent sales in the 5K range and the 5.0 at $3600 with recent sales above 5k. That was more specifically what I noticed. That book was selling on Instagram and Facebook for higher than the GPA numbers in May-July.

Watching what those IH 181’s just ended for on CL further illustrates softening on that book.

X-Men 1 has certainly pulled back from the highs in June. I have started to see mid grades sit on IG with no action, in June those same books would have been snatched up in an hour.

No kidding, was thinking not much shared at all on it. I will need to at least grab something from it. And about the time I typed this, I got the Email from HA promoting it.

I went, but I am not the best at capturing wall pics, usually my wife is taking pictures while I browse. I actually missed a couple GA books that others posted that they bought so they either were not out Thursday or Friday or they grabbed them before I went through.

But I thought X-Men 1 was the can't lose for this generation? Was going to overthrow all other SA keys? I am joking but I do think a lot of people got caught up in the hype. Daredevil 1 had it's number of hype men as well. Both of those are deserving of more attention for the record but when X-Men 1 starts to line up with FF1 and Hulk 1 in the same grades the money will move to the IH1 and FF1.

I just got charged for I assume one of the submissions Joey pressed for me, but I can’t match up the submission with the invoice they charged. I don’t show any new submissions received so can only assume now. My walkthrough is going to be higher than the charge sent over today.

I did not buy any slabs (much like Joeypost’s observation the new pricing takes a minute to comprehend) but did fill some holes. Thought it was a pretty good show, not that crowded.I found some nice TTA in Bob’s booth I needed. Dale Roberts had some nice stuff as well that I grabbed. We also hit a shop in Daytona beach with a ton of bronze for dirt cheap while down here.

They have had a walkthrough so long my credit card expired.. true story,on my 6.8 WT I got an invoice yesterday with a balance due, I replied just use the card on file and they said it just expired, I guess going forward I will have to check to make sure I use a card with at least a year to spare when submitting.

I hope so too, I am heading down today. Most likely doing Thursday and Friday only though.

IH181 and GSX1 pullback will have some get back in on them who had FOMO.

Looking forward to this weekend. Friday may be my only free day. I am going to bring down a few boxes of graded GA for trade bait if anyone is looking to trade. Will bring a few Silver and Spec books as well. Will we see a floor plan in the next few days?

It is a prescreen but is now well past the TAT. They finally today moved it to "in process".

Nice to see a 6-3 modern ship already I am now on my third email to see why my 6-8 received Walk Through has not moved at all.

You "just" entered the hobby and stumbled on this? Just seems strange, I have spent a ton of money with @Filter81 here and on ebay and always felt everything was above board. Anyone know if CGC notates restoration on the new custom labels?

IG has very much a feel of spec market, Silver Surfer 3 goes nuts due to speculation everyone lists for record sales and the show ends and the trend moves to Kang. I see the same buyers going heavy after each one, have to give those sellers credit they hype up those books and the buyers follow. Granted the argument will always go back to "it is higher than pre pandemic". This is true but almost true every year the calendar turns. Just the top seems much higher, much to Gator's comment of 200-400%.

Starting noticing the high flying IG Sellers who post "these sold this week" are posting mostly major keys, so those are still holding and climbing. I do see minor keys sit or get pulled down (assuming they did not sell) whereas in March/April they would get scooped up at whatever the asking was.
