  2. I finally got the last of my submissions back, alot of these were long time in the collection and somewhat forgotten.

The Batman 189 I felt was 8.0, The Batman 227 I thought was 5ish and The Our Army at war I really thought was a 8.5-9.0. Had a lot of other Marvel books go and most were strict but was pretty happy with these, especially the 189.

    Second Printing.

Exactly, the good thing is on most 2nd's there is some sort of indicator on the cover and this book is not very high dollar, if TMNT was missed that could be costly to someone who does not know what to look for on the cover of that book.

I had two Value Submissions move to GEI today, been sitting at SFG since 9/30.

Joey has 3 other submissions of mine that he dropped off at the same time that got put under his account so can't see progress but when all these get back I will be done submitting.

By some Miracle, one of the Value submissions flipped to G/QC today.

What happened 2 weeks before you posted this in April of 2021.......to make value of books change ?

Was more of a joke, that was about when all comics were going nuts, but several Joe comics like this one was hitting $500 out of no where.

I recall one copy sold in Oct for $750 so it’s not that much of a stretch to hit $875.

Additionally, a CPV copy sold in excess of $2K

That's a little crazy, 9.8's in that run certainly show separation from 9.6's. I usually buy a few from each auction for a little more than grading but they are normally 9.6's.

So looking over one of my economy submissions that was received on 10/1 and running it through a working day calculator gave me a tentative return date of July.

That got me thinking and curious about what CCS has and Currently the TAT for both modern and economy sit at 248

(Please note other than signing or SS books I do not use CCS ) still I was curious.

With the same calculator I put in todays date and that TAT and just for CCS it came back with this ...20220307_121035.jpg.7eb85bef168b861d3f38866dff147b2c.jpg

When you started collecting did you think, I hope one day I will be able to read and determine actual lunar stages from the roman calendar as well as estimate business days from now and in the past.

It sure looks like Clink is getting lower auction prices than Heritage. Better venue for buying?

This has been my stance for a long time, nearly all my 5 figure books have come from them, when I see the instagram sellers selling for so much I wonder if the buyers know about CL at all, same books, more choices in most cases and way better pricing.I also don't pay taxes to CL so about a 7% swing for me versus HA.

Last year they had some really high sales though, I had a couple bigger books I was killed on.

I did get a Bronze book this round that had been trending up the last few months for well below recent sales.
