  3. Finished 2023 with a measly 307 comics completed. This doesn't include novels. I've definitely shifted a bunch of time from reading to writing over the last year. Still working through the X-Men Omnibus #2 with my daughter and Zelda boxset with my son.
  4. I've started working on my next comic anthology called The World's Worst... The comic will include a four short stories by three different artists. The second story is The World's Worst...Medical Examiner. I've included the draft pages below. Thoughts and feedback are always appreciated. Thanks for taking a look! If you'd like to see the first story in the comic, the preview is available in my previous journal entry.
  5. Do you have a photo? Sometimes there's a black box and "not for resale" text in white when the comics come packaged with Marvel Legends figures.
  6. I've run sales threads in Mixed off and on to sell copies of the children's books that I write, but I'm out of the time required to package and ship them. But don't worry! Copies of my books are available on Amazon (Prime eligible) in both paperback and Kindle: https://amzn.to/3RMkHkf The books are also available on Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Bookshop, Apple Books, and other retailers. The books have positive ratings overall on Goodreads, and my most recent book, How Did the Hippopotamus Get there?, received a positive review by Midwest Book Review and a 5-Star rating from Readers' Favorite. If you purchase any copies, honest feedback with the retailer is greatly appreciated. You can learn more about the books on the Amazon link above or on my website; https://www.flatmountainpublishing.com/our-books/ Thanks for taking a look!

  10. Black Friday bump! All books are $10 each, plus a free gift per book. Shipping is flat rate $5. What kid wouldn't want fun books to read for the holidays? Personalizations are free. Check at the new emblem added to the cover of my most recent book for my Readers' Favorite 5 Star Review:
  11. Fafhrd and Gray Mouser by Mike Royer. Two original sketches in pencil. Crappy photo and a dirty top loader. The sketches are crisp.
  12. My daughter and I finished the first Uncanny X-Men Omnibus. It ends right in the middle of the Dark Phoenix Saga, so we started the next omni. 304 comics this year.
  13. For you Conan fans, this may be of interest: Conan the Barbarian - Colossal Edition https://zoop.gg/c/conan I did support the campaign, but I'm not affiliated with it in any way.
  14. Are you reading these as floppies or in TPB format? They eventually published "Pseudo #13" (or something similar in name) to close out the original story. I really love that character.
  15. Final bump. Open to offers. Thanks for looking.
  16. Not quite as bad as "are we there yet," but another question parents just can't answer. Check out my next standalone 6-panel webcomic from my forthcoming Dad Powers and Other Stories comic. It's less than 30 seconds with full audio. Take a look. Please subscribe and like if you enjoy it!
