  1. Wow that is for sure one of the nicest AF15's I have ever seen!! Any guesses on what it will sell for?
  2. A Action Comics 252 CGC 8.0 sold at ComicLink for 15 300$. Seller should have asked for 20 000$ bet you it would have sold. Link: http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fsearch%2Easp%3Fwhere%3Dsell%26title%3Daction%2Bcomics%2B252%26GO2%3DGO%26ItemType%3DCB&id=1151406
  3. This topic deserves a bump 1 week before Christmas day. I Robb is close to his 50k goal!!
  4. The X-Men #1 CGC 9.2 with Off-White Pages sold tonight at ComicConnect for 50 050$. Seems cheap!!
  5. Well the CGC 8.5 ended at 132 000$....is that higher that what a similar graded AF15 would fetch?
  6. Same here I am very happy with my CGC 6.0 just curious about what a 9.0 is now worth....weird that Overstreet has the value for a 9.2 at such a low price when that 9.0 sold for 60k in 2009....Overstreet are way off on some key books.
  7. What's the black on the spine? Looks like mold.
  8. Sold for almost 37 000$.....big difference from the last 4 6.5's that sold for 50 000$ to 52 000$. And the CGC 4.0 sold for 15 000$. Link: http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=685108 A good result on the 4.0, I think, given the damage around the staples and what appears to be significant rust on the lower staple. That is the felling I got as well...15k seems high on this specific CGC 4.0.
  9. This CGC 7.5 sold for 37 500$ tonight on ComicConnect. Link: http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=681662 The CGC 8.5 is almost at 100 000$ with 1 day left. Link: http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=682667
  10. Sold for almost 37 000$.....big difference from the last 4 6.5's that sold for 50 000$ to 52 000$. And the CGC 4.0 sold for 15 000$. Link: http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=685108
  11. Curious to see what other members think of what the future holds price wise for Cerebus #1 (will it keep going up in value)?
  12. Thanks guys funny it never even crossed my mind about BB28 been his 1st SA cover appearance. I will buy both Adventure Comics 260 and SC30.
  13. Thanks guys I think I will go after the Adventure Comics 260 first then the SC30.
  14. What I do not get is they both say Origin but SC30 also says tryout issue why does CGC not say 1st silver age appearance like say SC4 with the Flash and SC22 with the Green Lantern.
  15. What one is better to own? I am guessing SC30. It feels like Hulk 180 and Hulk 181 (Wolverine's 1st appearance....181 has always been much more popular than 180).
  16. Is it Adventure Comics 260 or is Showcase 30 or is it another book (it says origin and tryout but does not say 1st appearance)? I am asking because I would like to add one to my collection some time in 2017.
  17. How much would this SC22 CGC 9.0 sell for in our current market? It sold back in 2009 for 60k. Link: https://comics.ha.com/itm/silver-age-1956-1969-/showcase-22-green-lantern-dc-1959-cgc-vf-nm-90-off-white-pages/a/7013-92213.s?ic4=ListView-ShortDescription-071515#
  18. Any guesses what this X-Men CGC 9.2 will end at? Link: http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=682719
  19. I do not mind if it is a minor chip but only if I can't locate another copy in the grade I am looking for.
  20. That is a lot of chipping for a 6.5!! I wonder if it will pass 40k.
  21. Great book I have to add one to my collection hopefully some time later in 2017.
