  1. Why was it removed? My bad, it's probably just too old to show up in the completed sales.
  2. Damn, the X-Men 3 has been removed from ebay... I wanted to check it out for myself dammit.
  3. So I am assuming that if the problem was never corrected, the offender stays on the list permanently? (Sounds good to me)
  4. Here's a couple of mine that I put up in the grading forum:
  5. Ha! I just bought and read this book a couple of months ago!
  6. Kudos to Shadroch for the Gerber photojournal and to Pirate for the quick shipping and decent prices on some nicer marvels.
  7. Overdue Kudos to : Old Guy for a nice pile of silver and a "free" Daredevil Aces for FF's Timulty for taking Warcraft III of my hands Comicseekers for I forgot what and ft88 for a couple more FF's.
  8. Questions; Looks like you bent the whole book, not just the covers, correct? What heat setting did you use? I see a water chamber in your iron for pressing. Did you do this dry or with steam?
  9. Nice Our Fighting Forces cover! Those guys look like they are ready to [embarrassing lack of self control] their pants. Here's mine, just picked it up as part of an older lot a couple weeks ago. First Space Ranger cover.
  10. Here's another one of those nice yellow covers DC liked so much! That chip has been bothering me for years now.
  11. No offense taken, Susanville! Since you have a history degree, you might find interesting the fact that my uncle was knocked unconscious by mortar fire while riding and woke up in a a POW held by the Americans(lucky for him) . For him the war was over and he had it good from there on. They sent him to the USA after that. He went to Pike' s Peak in Colorado to a POW camp. He said it was pretty good there. The Americans treated him well. I always talk to him about his first hand experiences with the war. Guys like him won't be around to much longer. It's like watching the History/Discovery Channels when the do the WWII thing.
  12. Exactly, tth2. When you are an eighteen year old born, raised, and living in Germany and you get the draft letter, you better show up! He was a messenger that rode on horseback from town to town for the army. They didn't want everything broadcast over the air.
  13. Here 's a scan of my newest acquisition. Early superman fans will recognize it instantly. I've been wanting this book for about a year and finally picked it up on ebay for BIN of $300. Sold as VG. Cover and pages seem better except for a 1.25 inch tear through back cover and last couple of pages. Love that cover and the blue background. Gonna show it off to my uncle who fought for the Germans back in 1943 when this came out.
