  1. I spoke with HA in the last two days. I was informed that they believe that I paid the FMV on the auctions I won. They advised that Mike did not bid on the items I won. They could not advise if any "friends" bid on the items as they do not know who the "friends" are or were. The representative I spoke with advised they had received a lot of phone calls about the situation. He also stated that Mike wrote an apology.

so basically a CYA "nothing to see here, move along" with no substance.

I can understand not wanting to publicly name the shill proxy bidders, but they should be named to the auction houses. otherwise, the apology is just empty words. no way to verify or audit what went on.

  2. None of that changes the fact that, for its own reasons, whether you agree or not, the hobby has deemed GL #76 to be the more important cover. The end.

there, fixed that for you. :) yeh, it's all subjective.

  3. Thanks for the excellent advice. I learned that I was mistaken about the issue. I guess its easy to screw up when you are working from a trade instead of the actual book. Its actually a page penciled by Dan Panosian. Still working on it, but I'm not in a hurry.

maybe post a cellphone pic of the page you're looking for?

I have a few pages from Skaar #10 by Lim. I got em on ebay.
