  1. A guy had some cool vintage paperbacks. Grabbed these and was going back for a second look when a guy bought the rest as a lot. Pretty sure I got the best ones.
  2. Nice find, Congrats. Never saw them. Kinda dim for vintage comics today.
  3. Eat me Ricky! By the way, great stuff as always at some great prices. That ashcan is really something you never see. I’m still working off that bottle of Jack from turkey day... Sorry everybody Robot Man is a little “oiled” tonight.
  4. Sorry Sohrab. There is no shame as long as you are both cool with it. None of my biz. Rick really isn’t making much in this thread. Prices are pretty low already. Didn’t mean to offend you personally. Sorry.
  5. I’m thinking I really don’t want to know who would PM you for a lower price on a $10. book... Most likely he took a freebie too.
  6. This fine volume brings just about every weird perversion right into your sweaty little hands! Man, these are just beyond wild. But, do me a favor, don’t tell Ricksneatstuff or we will never be able to afford them!
  7. For those of you who like to “sweat”, my old time buddy John Knight recommended this fine volume to me. A few of you “old timers” might remember John. He hung around with Redbeard and Ritchie Halgua way back in the day. He probably has the best collection of these all in high grade than anyone else I know of. Some of you might want to ask the “little woman” to make sure that Santa brings you a copy...
  8. Love the Stag cover. Wild also has a similar but a little better one. Been kind of after it for years.
  9. I hate to hear the words “used to”... what an incredible bunch! Tell me you hung on to a couple just because. Or that you now own an island, have a killer car or saved some one’s life with all that dough...
  10. I like them a lot too. Problem is I NEVER see them out in “the wild” anymore. Like a lot of things and paperbacks come to mind, these used to be pretty cheap and easily obtainable. With comics going so high. It’s hard for me to pay high prices for these anymore. Especially with the fact that there is such a small interest in them.
  11. I would agree. Same with most of the other issues of this title as well as Skeleton Hand. The best of the ACG horror stuff.
  12. Wow, at first when I saw this, I thought, I'd never seen this one. Was shocked when I read the auction description. You would think there HAVE to be a few more. I wonder why this is so rare? By, the way, condition be dammed. Find another one...
  13. Posted this in another thread but thought it belonged here too...
  14. My wife would say too big. To me, never big enough...
  15. I don't think Williamson was that hard if you lived on the East Coast back in the day. A lot harder for us West Coasters though. In 2000 SDCC did an EC renunion. About all the surviving EC staff showed up. I remember seeing a long group of tables with all the artists lined up. I was pretty speechless. I got Williamson to sign a few things for me. One was this along with Angelo Torres. Torres is about the only surviving EC staffer now I believe. Very special day...
  16. That is mind blowing dave! Such a classic piece of comic book history.
  17. Yes, all pieces intact. To many, I'm not really an "artist". I work in advertising and graphic design. I'm very "conceptual"...
  18. Sounds like my house. Nobody goes in there except to use the computer. I love being in there. It's my own private hideaway. I do enjoy sharing my stuff with those who appreciate it though. Half the fun of having this stuff is enjoying it with those who love it. and, obviously, I have way more than just comic books.
  19. About the only good a book in a slab is, IS money...
  20. Is Barry Windsor Smith tough? I thought I heard he didn't sign much.
  21. I have a Schomburg Cap I believe. Yeah, not a lot of his sigs floating around. Yours looks right to me. I was right in front of him when he signed my book.
  22. I don't recall Wally Wood signing a lot. I got this one waaaay back when SDCC was at the old convention center. Just before he passed away. He didn't look good and reeked of booze, but hell it was Wood. He smiled and commented on the book. One of my favorite artists.
