Man, I was really hoping I would not hear of this. Really strikes home to all of us collectors. Fires, floods and hurricanes are the enemies of the stuff we cherish so much. I just consider myself a caretaker for future generations. At the end of the day, it is just stuff.

Unless I'm blind, it makes me sick that some one "cleaned" off the pedigree markings.

Lucked into these yesterday at the flea market from my $5. pulp guy. The second one is a swipe from an earlier Jungle comic book I believe.

A nice cover I think. Used in Seduction of the Innocent. The first issue of this title I ever bought. I was trying at the time to collect all the SOTI books I could find. I really enjoyed it and seeked out the rest.

Great "old school" collection. I'm pretty sure you will find a lot of gems in there.

Got a similar grade copy with a few others at the flea market last weekend. I don't buy many Dell funny animals these days. But my favorites are the ones from around this time period 1947. Can't wait to read it.

After looking at that one again, you might have been OK passing. I'm pretty surprised he didn't take 1800 cash. Very fair offer on your part.

Soooo creepy! I have seen this motif used on several other pch comics over the years.

A sentimental favorite for me. The MLJ that popped my cherry on these. Still love the little grey guy so tough. 

This one goes well with this!

I just realized I wave a war cover camp copy. Kind of weird it has no other markings other than her name. It is earlier though from 1943 I believe.
