  1. Does backstory matter, or are you willing to jump in anywhere? (And by backstory, I also mean just knowing the characters...)

I enjoyed X-Factor v3 (2006-2009), with Peter David writing, when Multiple Man led the team sort of as a detective agency.

I'm also a fan of Excalibur and Exiles, though both have some highs and lows over the runs.

  2. On a semi-tangential note, are there really only 2 MCU movies slated for 2019, instead of the (now-normal) three? Captain Marvel comes out in March and A4 in April, but other than that, I don't believe there's an MCU movie slated for the rest of the year. There's 2 Fox movies (Dark Phoenix/New Mutants) and 1 Sony movie (Spider-Man:FFH), but no MCU. Am I missing something, or is next year a lighter year for them, before going back up to 3 in 2020?

He does use the Power Stone to manipulate Loki into revealing The Tesseract, but he doesn't use it during combat with Hulk.

The Power Stone, obviously, further exacerbated Thor's condition.

The Russo Bros said that they had Thanos use each stone right after getting it, to show the audience what each one did. So every time he acquired a stone or was shown with a new stone, he used it in the next scene (i.e., after getting the Reality Stone on Knowhere, he used it in the fight with the Guardians). So he had the Power Stone in the beginning and did use it in that first scene, but I think yeah, it wasn't necessarily when fighting Hulk so much as it was with Loki and Thor (though it may've been while fighting Hulk also).
