    It's not tanking. I view all of these grading contests as additional learning experience (and fun). Trying to grade the stuff I have at home doesn't really tell me if I'm grading correctly unless I send them in, and that just gets expensive. I'm just a fatalist at heart--if I expect the worst, it's hard to be disappointed, and instead, more opportunities to be pleasantly surprised (like finding myself in ties for the Top Ten for two rounds of this so far...).

    That's why I want last! I figured my odds of getting high enough for a prize are slim, so instead of getting stuck in the middle, I'd have better a better chance of shooting for the bottom

    Blast...close on the JIM, way off on the Alf. I wasn't expecting that one to be so high, between the spine tics, what looked like wear/scratches in the back, and the front looks like it has two deep color-breaking creases/indents in the lower-left corner on the green puddle, to the right of the scanner glow. Compared to the JIM, I saw those and went lower. Oh well. My quest for last place continues!

    Watched the final episode over the weekend. Then immediately re-watched the opening scene. The whole thing I thought was great, and got to where it wanted to go pretty handily, without ending up like another "Oh, well, the bad guy got loose again" kind of situation. Wonder if they'll introduce any new characters next season, good or bad.

    I wonder what will happen with the two bonus episodes that were aired, and intended for S4...will they be part of the Netflix season? Or will we get more Gaiman-as-God? Hmm...

    I went 3.5 and 7.0. I can't remember if I was debating between 3.0-3.5 or 3.5-4.0 on the Weird Chills...oh well. Ugh, I can't even get to the bottom of the scoring charts right!

    Damn, not doing too well in my quest for bottom...

    Hmm...I got a bullseye on the NM, and overgraded the IH by a bit. Wasn't sure how much a detached chunk like that would affect grade, especially if it was taped on (as opposed to just missing). Gotta get better with lower grades, they definitely tend to be my weakness...along with middle grades. And higher grades.

    Drat, this place opened after I left Baltimore, and I haven't been back. But since I found out about it, I wanted to go and visit...oh well. I guess, at this point, that's just not going to happen.

    Nice! Netflix saves the day. I can see this being a good companion to Stranger Things, but with a darker tone.
