  1. WHAT?!?!?! Those are a complete ghost! Yoshi is gonna flip out! Edit: He was looking for the Regen One #81 Sketch Blanks. Still might be excited though.
  2. What the? Why's this book selling for that much? Price Memory is longer than people's on this one. Regular cover is $1.00 bin fodder, (I actually just pulled a whole set from $1 bins locally) Variant, at time of serious movie speculation, had a few copies float for big $, but even after the movie spec fizzled, people still want to pay big $ for the book. Nice cover though.
  3. I'm talking about the 1:25, not the regular covers.
  4. I need an Uncanny Inhumans #11 1:25 variant. Yeah, yeah, hot book of the week, but will likely cool off and I will get one for less than current prices. I guess you can all blame me for "setting the market" on the Uncanny Inhumans #11 Putri 1:25 variant. My Local store order was too short for me to get the 1:25 so I put up 2 (What I thought were insane, nobody gonna out bid me) bids on 2 books from the same seller THAT I TRUST, and got sniped out at the end on both. Well, everyone saw that and apparently that became "market value". The market (eBay) is now flooded with these and some are sitting, but the "speculators" are mostly who is buying this book, I'm just an Inhumans reader/collector that has another Inhumans book to chase now that I scored my NM All New Inhumans #5 Hip Hop Variant, and now they have a 1:25 that is way more common fetching close to the same numbers as that 1:100 book that was even lower print than UI #11. Geeze this is nuts, but please accept my formal apology for what seems to be the market setting price point for this book on release day.
  5. This week was awesome because Transformers Sins Of The Wreckers #5 was finally released after some really hard times fell upon Nick Roche (Writer and Artist of the series), but IDW allowed him to take the time needed on this and did not replace him. The story does indeed read better as a Trade, and likely will sell some TP's of this one! While no, it is not "Last Stand Of The Wreckers" Roberts/Roche magic, it is still a great story that needs to be read by people who HATE Prowl's character and want to see him pay for being such a cold/calculating *spoon*. Future Flash, are you all caught up yet? Lot's of revels in the last 2 issues of MTMTE that will have you jonesing for another issue! Till All Are One #2 is up next on the 6th.
  6. Yep. 1st appearance in Venom #38 is a fabulous buy Venom #1 (2003)
  7. Spider-Man Deadpool #6. Holy , it's Donald Dryans the Movie star who plays Deadpool's 1st Appearance.
  8. Say what you want about what the market response is, Uncanny Inhumans is a good read. I just read #11. It's a good read as par for the series and a sensible tie in to Civil War II, but there is a false narrative that Lockjaw bites it, untrue.
  9. Because it's cover date is August 2016. Most books are released from the big 2 as a 2 month ahead cover date.
  10. Sorry for the spoiler, but read the 2 last MTMTE's and get caught up.
  11. Dying of the Light (MTMTE 50-54) Has been the 2nd best arc of this book. 1st being Remain In Light. (17-21) Yeah, I posted about that M.A.S.K. thing, and they are using the Ultra Energon from the -Ations series' to be the start of the M.A.S.K. development, and all Hasbro properties, and ROM will share a universe. I had hopes the TF books remain independent and they have a mini-series that ties all properties in, but ROM Variants and the possibility for them to show up on Cybertron with the G.I. Joe's with M.A.S.K. trying to fight Cobra says they will mix and cameo in other books. A reboot isn't out of the question for Formerly RID according to what I read. Last 2 issues of Formerly RID have been a Hasbro Combiner Wars Advertisement forcibly put into the story, and those bots should have NEVER been combiners. All for toy sales sometimes. Till All Are One captures that lightning in a bottle feeling that was missing from Windblade, but present in the early days of RID. Political thrillers, with Transformers allowing more backstory and universe building. So we have MTMTE on a Knights of Cybertron Quest. Till All Are One on Cybertron and the Colonies, and formerly RID on Earth mostly. Great time to be a Transformers fan.
  12. That's a retcon, this is not. I read the Portacio X-Factor issues, Baby Nathan getting the Techno Organic Virus was very real sir.
  13. That we know, this is the newest Modern Superboy appearance. (Whatever they decide to call this "age" in ten years". Here in lies the CGC label but for which book? "1st Jonathan Kent as SUPERBOY"
  14. So then where do you put SLC8 in that analogy? Simple, Uncanny X-Men Annual 14 is L&C #8. Low Print, Rightfully first time he flies, but not enough to warrant it as a 1st appearance of the new Superboy as Superboy, that will likely be in the current Action comics story, or the Superman story, which OH MY are BOTH about Jonathan Samuel Kent's conversion into Superboy, or whenever he shows up like he was dressed on the Rebirth Midnight Release Variants in his Supersons design. That issue btw (Rebirth Midnight Release Variant) is His first Appearance as Superboy ala Captain Marvel #17 2nd Print. 1st In costume.
  15. Ms Marvel is in the 50-60 range. What is the first appearance of Ms Khan selling for these days? But yeah, who cares... The first Muslim based Marvel superhero who is a young woman with long term implications of a movie vs. another white superboy/man. Isn't there already a Superboy? To be honest, I have no clue about the continuity of this child and place in DC. Trey, I heard this weeks cast and when I heard you mention this I was lol'ing because I heard you last week on the podcast try and scoop up a copy of the 1:25 Lois and Clark #1 from someone on the podcast!??!?!? I can kinda tell you have no clue about the continuity, and have not read the arc. If you did you wouldn't be here placing doubts into a book you praised 1 week prior. Truth be told, it's the readers that make the best speculators because they know the story better than people getting info second hand. Anyway, Jonathan Samuel Kent is not from the New 52 Universe where first, the other Superboy was from, and the other "Lois and Superman (now dead)" are from, and that is what is important. New 52 Lois and Superman are not JSK's parents, readers of the L&C series know this is a Universe Displaced Superman from the universe where Doomsday killed him (Pre-Flashpoint Superman, post Crisis Superman, basically the one John Byrne rebooted). JSK will be the new Superboy, and that is why Convergence #2 is his Uncanny X-men 201, and Superman Lois and Clark #1 is his New Mutants 87. (Variant is 1st print, and regular cover is equivalent to the NM 87 2ng Print Gold) Loved the podcast this week though, great listen. Eradicator is the other Clark BTW. I know you were wondering who that was.
  16. Well, the 1:25 will be the long term winner if the character is well received, he appears on 0 of the covers. I collect these books on the regular so no worries for my pull list. I had to go elsewhere for the 1:25's though, my local stores do not order enough to get it.
  17. I'm a little jelly too, I thought the Spider-Man Pre-Order was much later like a lot of people. How many sets did you get Krighton?
  18. That is so......unreal. Yeah, I'm mad I sold one for $15 week ago, but that is a sign that people want it "because 2nd print is lower print number than 1st and this one has a red cover". Guess when it's red, it's valuable.
  19. Inhuman was such a good run too, This is basically what happens when you try and spread 3 (now 4 Books) in what should be one title only. Keep launching with a hot artist/writer team, only to yank them off the book after the 1st arc.
  20. http://marvel.com/news/comics/26315/introducing.mosaic?linkId=25738115 Sure, they are Hyping up a new character appearing in Uncanny Inhumans #11, so I figured might as well bump the discussion for the newbs! Also, DID YOU SEE KARNAK vs Iron Man In Civil War II? He was totally owning Tony in that fight. Terrigenesis not required.
  21. Fah....I just sold one for $15 beans, Red cover, it was a NM copy too. DANG IT! Welp....I can't win them all.
