  1. I'm pretty sure the variant (white cover) was a 1:15 That book isn't a variant of the one shot. Thanks for clarifying. Both X-23 series' were released in the same year I think, causing some confusion.
  2. You won't until after the regular release of Han Solo #1.
  3. No need to defend it Lonzilla, you actually posted a modern, heating up on eBay, in the correct thread, someone had to come in and rain on that parade with the quickness. Anyway.....was the Variant cover a "order all you want" or was it an incentive ratio? I'd like to estimate the print run in my head without eluding to anything that might cause.....a disruption around here.
  4. Regular cover has the colors that remind me of NYX #3, am really surprised that the variant hasn't taken off like it should if the regular cover is seeing these numbers shill free. Still looks like the X-23 train rolls on.
  5. Logo on the back means AWESOME in any language.
  6. Why should I. The guy can't even pronounce my name right It's your screen name anyway. All 3 podcasts have been ok.
  7. I will have to get one too since Alex Milne was born to draw Transformers! Let us know how to order when available please.
  8. I know you are following the new Superboy story, so guess who had his 1st appearance in costume on the cover of the Midnight Release Variant?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? So there is another reason for heat.
  9. the b/w is holding steady at $60.....good one to get just for the superboy on the cover. Midnight Release and Sketch also have Harley on the cover. WIN.
  10. Except when we actually post a modern heating up on eBay in that thread, and it gets lost in the sea of print ratio madness, or getting called a pump and dump when you bought 1 copy for yourself! Reading all my books to see if there is anything else, but for those who might have missed it.....JL 50 is the BIG ONE.
  11. He isn't in costume. Only his dads cape, so still not his 1st appearance as Superboy. Ha Haa Haaaa Now you have them listed on Ebay for $25 You REALLY hate that book don't you! Gonna be book of the week. At midnight release tonight we sold out. It's on everyone's radar. DC kept that Norman Rockwell cover under wraps... Showed shops a dud cover. NOBODY "hit" it... I worked the frenzy at the store tonight, I nabbed 1 copy. Hey, I said I would have 0 issues being proven wrong by someone who obviously knows better than the guy who works a retail comic gig 1 day a week like me, well, you did.
  12. He isn't in costume. Only his dads cape, so still not his 1st appearance as Superboy.
  13. yeah, these books just keep going up. Interesting side note. Wantedcomix seems to have a near endless supply of these venom variants I remember them selling the venom variants grouped with a TPB in 2013, 2014 and 2015 , they were ending in the $5 - 30 range. over and over again. They are prolly kicking themselves now. They have sold Dozens and Dozens of each individual book. It seems to me they must have somehow acquired some, or all, of the remaining undistributed copies. Go look at their feedback, if you feel like digging and adding them up. This is what always scares me about these modern 1: variants. The print run numbers are complete guesses based on ratios and there is no guarantee how many were actually printed, and where the undistributed copies end up. Here is an old sale from page #200 of their feedback: More than a year ago JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #633 1:50 VENOM VARIANT COVER SCARCE & FREE THOR HERUCLES 1 (#400550069813) US $22.50 22 bucks and a free TPB They have sold dozens of this book, and it seems they still have more. I notice wantedcomix has auctioned off a few of the JIM 633 Venom as well. They seem to be the only one that has auctioned any off. The last one, they said was in raw 7.0 condition and it still went strong. With only a ~23,000 copies of the regular cover distributed and it being a 1:50, it's hard to fathom any scenario where very many more than ~400 copies of the variant being distributed, let alone printed. -J. Your math is off buddy . Care to explain how? -J. Because you didn't do exact math and get 460.
  14. All the more reason to pick it up while everyone is distracted. Nice.Might have to submit my copy even if it's a 9.2 or 9.4.
  15. That's silly - there are plenty of BINs in the $40 range. Are they as clean as that copy? 1 NCB s[ine stress that seems to be production wide, and present on 9.8s? Nah...
  16. Supreme Power #2, 1st Appearance of the New Night Hawk who is getting his own #1 this week. My personal favorite cover of Nighthawk is SP #4 Supreme Power #4 is a TOUGH cover to get in high grade due to the back ink, but probably one of the better looking covers. .
  17. Because everyone ordered heavily on 34 for the 1:52 Lenticular cover that has been on the wall of my LCS since release! I can never find the TF books in my signature in the wild, hope I have better luck at Megacon.
  18. I always get damaged books from those guys when ordering directly. Shame, some nice covers usually. Man, you are NOW getting to the GOODS. Formerly RID is in their stride by 47, and MTMTE is still setting up plot points for the current arc in issues 50+ (and the next 40 too).
  19. Yes, but that doesn't mean I am going to like it if it is written poorly or illustrated poorly. It is really Windblade Vol 3, and we all saw how the 1st 2 volumes faired......
  20. if that was for me bud..... I'm 58 Born in '58, or you are 58? Astoria sure does internet like a man in his 20's!
  21. If so then the future will be these Horseman Of Apocalypse Variants. WOW that Keown Guardians cover is FIRE! Article on the Tron covers went up yesterday, it's no wonder you see movement today.
  22. Nobody even wants to look at the CGC SS 9.8 #1 at my store. Cray Cray
  23. Attention JSC Gwenpool #1 Paris orderers, My books were sent wrapped (poorly) in a thin bubble wrap, thrown into a pulp paper (while thick, not enough) international mailer. No cardboard protection. Pressing required to fix the 9.8 candidate, and one 9.4 copy that may pull a 9.6 with a press. Good luck out there.
  24. Be careful of this, I flipped through it and saw nothing eventful. May have missed it but nadda go slower and report back...all it takes is one rando Chinese dude walking across the street to be speculator gold. Just read it, while it has story reasons, no Chinese Superman appears in the whole issue.
