  1. that's^ awesome! Anyway, looks like the X-23 #1 cover is also out there as a part of a whole 1:75 Variant Set, Wolverine #1, Uncanny X-Force #1, Daken Dark Wolverine #1, X-Men #3, Generation Hope #1 make up the cover together.
  2. Does the Djurdjevic cover connect to other variants like the Ultimate Fallout run? It looks like some other X titles have similar looking art to that cover? Possibly, I didn't know the Fallout covers connected. He's done a few of these. There are villain ones too.
  3. BAM gets orders out a few days later than Wednesday, I would recheck.
  4. Does the Djurdjevic cover connect to other variants like the Ultimate Fallout run? It looks like some other X titles have similar looking art to that cover? No one is yelling, But even trying to estimate matters when people went out in droves and bought every error copy, and eBay is flooded for sale is a tactic to try and convince a market that it is a good purchase, when we all know it isn't. Wide spread, and effecting both direct and newsstand version of the book. Is it likely to be less than the regular edition, yes. But saying 6,000 copies is all there are for the newsstand is throwing a dart at a board with print runs. BAM also got them, and likely every other retail has a potential to get copies.
  5. Your estimate of 8 copies is an estimate. How do you know there aren't certain B&N that stock 20, and others who stock 4 copies? You don't. I got yelled at by RMA for estimating variant print runs, so since he isn't here I'll play advocate for truth in print numbers. #realprintnumbersmatter #stoptheestimating #stoptheinsanity
  6. Way more than 6,000 and IDK how you could possibly estimate an error.
  7. Closed at $400. Sold my 9.6 raw too cheap then. New high for this book though, seems clean but I don't know the buyer personally to vouch. Pretty stupid meme.... You're not naturally funny. Sorry. No I am sorry. It wasn't meant to offend either of you two, and I am sure some people found it funny (other than me). I'm sure others would rather see stuff like that than the arguing normally found in this thread, but some things should be handled via PM around here, that aren't and we get to make fun of them to pass the time. As for this JL 52 covered #51 Error book, I just want 1 copy for my personal collection and I couldn't nab one from one of the lucky stores here in Florida because I work at another one (that got 0 copies) on Wednesdays. I'll wait till they are $20 or less for a Direct which appears to be when everyone's attention span forgets this book and moves on to the next flavor of the week.
  8. IDK what wash actually going on, but I had to (try and) be funny for a moment.
  9. Don't worry they want at lest $100-150 I bet for that book. Most expensive back issue store I have ever seen. They have discount cards, and programs for subs to make it cheaper on some of their stuff. The owner hates speculators, but new books always match eBay presales, or higher on re ease date. Still, I pull gold from their bins for cheap on the regular.
  10. Not saying the direct isn't a low printed error, it likely is lower than the retail /newsstand whatever it is called, and it isn't worth what some people want it to be worth. Or maybe it is, we hope some non shilled auctions determine fair market on this, not some suspect bin's or 2nd accounts bidding to set market. Everyone tread lightly, and collect what you like and feel comfortable spending.
  11. I know of a store that had copies on the shelf, smaller store but here in the Orlando area. Direct market too. Sorry no pics, but my word is gold weather you want to believe it or not. And the other store, being a chain is likely Coliseum of Comics which I also know they got copies of this from the local communities and such.
  12. Someone said $300+ 9.8 a few pages back.....they were right. eBay X-23 WOM One Shot 9.8 CGC 5 Hours till close, lots of bids. Will it break 4?
  13. I thought the 2nd print was the one no one has ever found. Do you have a pic of it? I'll take one today. there was a first print in the collection as well. maybe i did have a 3rd print before (sorry can't remember) Weird, I have a Transformers #1 (Marvel 1984) 3rd Print which I was told shouldn't exist.
  14. Also, has anyone seen a 9.8 Daredevil #1 Hip Hop Variant? I want to see if the chips in the side of every copy I have seen are indeed production wide as they seem to be. #blackcoversmatter and Hip Hop variants are BRUTAL when it comes to flaws. They show everything!
  15. Thanks for the replies everyone. Here a few of my favorites.
  16. Hmm, where have I heard this before. Oh, when the Psylocke's "sold out"...then more appeared. It was Stan Lee Collectibles who was in charge of that book's distribution though, and I believe that set had a much higher print run than most other JSC store exclusives. Time will tell if this comes back into stock, and if it does I might have to consider another set!
  17. I find it funny that the Green Lanterns #1 ongoing pictured is the variant cover with Jessica. They are obviously pushing her hard to be a top lady.
  18. I can smell the gasoline on this MJ fire, and I got an extra Betty and Veronica #1 just because.
  19. Same art he used for DOOP #1, but with a few small changes.
  20. Thanks man, I had one in my cart at Midtown, couldn't pull the trigger at their price, and unseen. I've got 2 copies on order now, one I hope is my 9.8. The only reason I say it will be a similar situation to MTMTE #19 is because BOTH have a 1:25 variant, which MTMTE had 9,394 sales # according to Comichron.com, IFFFFFF (very big if) every store ordered 25 copies and got the incentive, it would equal 400 or less. We both know there are many stores that don't hit 10 copies, and the digital sales that keep it alive on the back end are the only reason we keep rolling out. And that Hasbro $. As for the 2 covers, Milne rules. 1:25 for top art, with the Transmissions Variant taking #2 spot (IMHO), art there also by Milne. One of my LCS's tried to get me a 1:10, saw it tonight, badly damaged. I should have one soon though, this honey hole charges cover price for 1:10's though. Pretty sweet when they aren't obliterated on the Diamond Order.
  21. .........And the VF+ X23 one shot went too. As well as a VF+ Copy of Scarlet #1 in record time. Good day on the bay IMO.
  22. I don't think there is much re-order stock available on the first two weeks of Rebirth #1s outside of damage replacements. Rebirth #1's were sold out at distributor level the same Wednesday as the release of the Rebirth One Shot. The only ones not sold out at distributor level are the ones still open on Diamond orders for this current previews. All these titles will likely have a 2nd print.
  23. Turtles #59 sounds like this weeks "Banana in the Tailpipe". Eddie Murphy warned me of that kind of speculation. I'm not falling for it. Let the flip lemmings run wild, I am all about my Transformers Trifecta of books Wednesday anyway.
  24. Someone offered $75 on my high grade X23 Women Of Marvel One Shot #1. New high for the book raw for sure, I know that 9.6 CGC went at $108 a little while back. The best part is, the buyer paid! Sometimes these offers get accepted, and then relisted due to non-payment.
