  1. You guys are funny nuts. Until I see a JL40 Combo Pack heat up like a supernova, I don't want to hear about them! As for my post that was multi-quoted like a boss....... really though.....I don't care where I read the tip from, wheather here, the g+, or other places, it is still a modern that is heating up on eBay. So eff me for posting in the right place. All I wanted was to feel good for a moment about my $10 investment into a book I bought from a seller in Germany, that was poorly packaged, and still miraculously arrived NM against all odds. Now, back to the banter.
  2. Scored for cheap at a local store who doesn't know how to price back issues. But I am OK with that.....
  3. You guys know all this hype about who it is because "things are different on the TV show Because Reasons" crowd lets Kirkman Mind-&^% you all into thinking it is someone else, and I bet it is still Glenn that gets it.
  4. New X-Men #31. first appearance of Kimura, was a $10 book, now cooking.
  5. New Adds to my list everest_collector : First off, he opens up with a message asking if a book has been pressed and tells me how he is going to return it if the staples were sunk in from pressing. I advise him to not buy my book then, since I cannot confirm the staple depth of his liking prior to the sale, and that I do not accept returns after only one time taking a switched out book return from a bad buyer. Then I get a message low ball offer on the same book I am NOT taking offers on, and low-balls other books I am taking BO's for a "package deal". Didn't get the hint...and once I asked if his FL address was "paypal confirmed" before doing any business with him, he vanishes. Save yourselves the trouble. redxjohn: Best Offer was more than 66% off of asking price, and automatically declined. Sent me a message immediately asking to make a deal with a post about a bunch of other books he had and I couldn't make out wtf he wanted because he never asked or stated what he did. After a few messages he still wouldn't tell me wtf he wanted to do, just wanted to waste my time I guess. So once again, save yourselves the time.
  6. The universe teases me when it comes to the 2 RI books eluding me. I was bidding on the Spotlight:Sixshot RI-B, and was sniped in the last seconds. I might have to offer up my Bot-Con Nightbeat Variant in trade to get that Sixshot RI-B, and TF 22 RI! Fellow TF collectors, think about it! I have one, but it is not the NM+ copy I want to keep so waiting on a replacement. Sub cover is nice on #51 too. Interesting story on this copy of #6. Infiltration had started off strong in sales with a comicron # of 45,453 copies sold for issue #1. However, Infiltration #6 had a distribution of 25,299, and out of that number, there weren't too many stores ordering 100 copies, so yeah, this is a pretty rare book that I had not been able to get a hold of nor seen for sale for a while. I was the only watcher when it was $70.00. Seller relisted at $60, then lowered it and poof!!!!!.....then there were 4 watchers and I couldn't risk it! Well, that one posted in this thread became mine! Infiltration 1:100 Variant Set, COMPLETE! The Seller of the Optimus variant also mislabeled it as a 1:75, it was most certainly a 1:100 ratio. Confirmed here, and these guys have a pretty extensive archive of these books. http://www.ntfa.net/ntfa/comics/idw/infiltration.php Anyway, ON WITH THE PICTURES!
  7. I'm curious too, I found it in a dollar bin last year but bought it on a half-price day It was mentioned in the Campbell thread, and that is all it takes around here for someone who lurks to see a book mentioned, pull it and list it. Instant Tax with free Hype. .
  8. They just stated, nobody on the cast will know who dies until next season.
  9. People are speccing that book hard because of Red Tool. Seeing how Harley is the highest printed DC book, there is no short supply of those 1:25's. Prices SHOULD fall soon. Harley is the highest printed DC? Uh, no... My apologies, "Averages 5th Highest Sales".
  10. People are speccing that book hard because of Red Tool. Seeing how Harley is the highest printed DC book, there is no short supply of those 1:25's. Prices SHOULD fall soon.
  11. CHU catch your attention...? Buying the wrong book, its Convergence Superman #2 that they should be pulling. 1ST JOHNATHAN KENT.
  12. I wish I had known you when I had multiples of the AA #9's...... and I found I was wrong in order for the pictures. and the original which is better than my stitch job, and shows some missing pieces that would have tied this whole thing in nicely.
  13. It sucks that I still have to see his quotes. but ^thus is the reason to hit the ignore button on that guy. RMA has google alerts set up anytime someone makes a post about variant print runs, he has to come in and flame people.
  14. Well if you didn't offer me the one in my signature I need, you are dead to me!
  15. Elija is on some pump and dump crack. He must have gotten a moldy collection that had these books, and is tripping. As for you RMA...You'd think for someone who's been posting on this forum for 11 years, you'd think you knew know how to talk to someone and how this ratio thing works. Math makes you so angry doesn't it? Ignore is much easier.......Ignore also gives me the last word. That is bliss. BYE FELICA.
  16. Yeah hard to say if they'll stay there or not...1:100 will prob keep them scarce as I'm not sure how many stores will order that many. Now if Alex would just do a local show... It depends. It's one of many cover swipes/homages to Cap 1. Though it is a very well done one. How well do those usually hold up? Issue #6 of this title had orders of barely ~27,000, so if #7 is anywhere near that, then yes this variant would definitely have a tiny print run. According to who? According to Marvel who says they round up to the next case, and do 3-4 for high desire books. Let's not start this again, I don;t care how a nal you are, you need to just let it go, and let people estimate the way they estimate.
  17. Guess I am celebrating Dell'Otto too. The Uncanny is a good candidate if pressed, that 2nd print New Avengers though, will be stupid tough in 9.8. We know of at least one lucky guy with one! (not me)
  18. I ended up getting it, because I actually didn't have that one! I hope you post the #22 RI and I am able to nab that too. Since you have the 1:100's as well, if yours are sealed, it will be opened by CGC when submitted. Opening and pressing isn't exactly a bad idea. I am leaving the Comicfolio's sealed though since I will never submit them, if you have those, leave those sealed with the IDW tag. Also, here is the #48-50 connecting covers of both titles by MTMTE's resident artist Alex Milne. Not sure what was up with Formerly RID #48-50. They didn't all connect or there was something cut out of the picture that connected them. Still awesome robot drawingz by Milne!!!!.
  19. Ultimates is helping and it's a fantastic reading book as well as some awesome artwork. Steady since ALOTBM #1 is a 2 1st appearance book, Blue Marvel and Anti-Man with something stupid low like 17K on comichron numbers for #1. Just checked, 17,305. For a 1st appearance with no variant, that is seriously low. Rest of the books are not common either.
  20. I'm not, superior card stock on that book right there.
