  1. Windblade Volume 1 happens simultaneously with RID & MTMTE #28's new arcs. She then Rejoins the RID books until COmbiner Wars. Read it also after MTMTE 28-30. Punishment is not until Prime leaves Earth to return to Cybertron, and Redemption isn't until much later in Formerly RID's late 30-s or 40's but is basically the sequel to Punishment and can be read after.
  2. Percentile to Goal Variant is not Retail Incentive. Now you just sound pompous. It's ok, I'll go to my local store and see the list. But it looks like its garbage from Secret Wars anyway.
  3. That's not an incentive variant, it is a Women of Power Variant which required 90% of a previous order. Lots of stores wouldn't order enough to make that threshold. Post the list.
  4. They are eBaysily found. Ok, Ok, Ok, Ok, so................ I know you just finished Dark Cybertron. I have a not really big spoiler spoiler. He "X" is still dead. How about that! Read the MTMTE 28-30 arc, then RID 28+ for the return to Earth. Reads a little better that way. Now you are at that moment where the titles go in completely different directions. Reading one or the other after the Return to Earth arc in RID. I also just noticed that the RI covers of 48-50 of both ongoings currently connect, and are drawn by Alex Milne (MTMTE Resident Artist). I'll get some scans together, but I think they will be a few more issues to each cover set.
  5. Great cover. BotCon had a #30 CON CVR that was a sketch variant of the RI. Notice the other cover says CVR RE. Both were available at BotCon 2014 and were limited to 300 copies each. there was also a MLP Variant....but I'm not about that life. Nice of you to help a TF fan out. If you do or don't even offering is cool of you.
  6. Hype and deception are barely separated by that grey area anyone selling a comic for over cover price dwells in. It's not what happens, but how you react to it.
  7. Well, you are in a thread all about profiting on books heating up. Safe to say, you should be posting somewhere else if you feel that way.
  8. I don't see why being a variant matters if it is heating up. But the market has chosen many times, a book that has the desired artwork, with he lowest print/distribution run usually wins. (Now I don't need an education print/distribution, we already covered that garbage on the last few pages.) Show me a regular cover that is heating up, and get it posted rather than being so down on the hobby with the woe is me, the end is nigh, et tu brute . It's getting old.
  9. Look for a Spotlight Sixshot RI-B too if you're looking for unicorns. (unicrons)
  10. HA! MCS says it was a "misprint" not a "distribution error", but Marcelo Matere's cover is the one marked RI that was sent out in the SUB cover order fulfillments, it actually connected with the Windblade and the RID 1:10 variants the same month as he did all 3. They have the pictures right though, and I think the UK and other markets were fine. I'm just going to check issue #39 for anything funny. These RI #X9's for this series have been hits.
  11. It's not like they pulled him to do Civil War II. That I could understand. Still, Uncanny is the better book of the 2. All New is getting better, but they had to pull Spider-Man into it to try and jump readership. my new unicron since I sold my Minaro Inhuman #1 is the All New Inhumans #5 1:100 Hip Hop.
  12. McNiven is done on Uncanny Inhumans, Peterson has been doing art the last 2 issues. Uncanny Inhumans #6 was released today too, but waiting on my Women Of Power Variant to arrive via mail. No surprise about McNiven not doing the art anymore. Marvel only pays the big talent for launches, then sends in the other guys to take over and blame when the sales drop because the launch artist was bringing something good to the book.
  13. Where do you learn about these printing mix ups? When I walked into my LCS on release date, and they had 5 copies of the RI, and I got the only sub cover, for a total order of 11 copies I knew something was up. I checked on line, and everywhere else was the same. My comic shop also noted the accidental switch up in distribution. So I hoarded the 3 copies I could actually find. Sold 2, Found another just recently on ebay.uk, and bought it quickly before I posted about it. (I learned my lesson from the JS Campbell Thread, purchase first, post second),
  14. It's a dream sequence. Such a cop-out and Hyped cover.
  15. Hype that it's a 2nd print ala Captain Marvel #17. It may have a low print/distribution (RMA APPROVED CONTEXT), but that is it. It has a picture on the cover that doesn't really happen in the book anyway. People trying to hype it, as well as all the 2nd printings of this run.
  16. I want know where all the convergence covers went to die. Sooooo sooooo many extras everywhere. are they sent to poor African kids like Super Bowl loser gear? Convergence early issues were returnable, and everyone loved the Hughes #0, so that's only one issue that sold well (because of the variant).
  17. TF 50 and MTMTE 50 were both great issues. I put the RI's away already, but here are 6/10 covers available. These are the Subscription Variants, there were 3 for each book. And allow me to share some spec.....I know you guys love it. Besides issue #2 of Megatron's Trial, and him rocking that sweet Autobrand on the cover........ This book here: Here in the USA, this book was "accidentally" distributed at a 1:10 ratio, and the RI cover of issue #29, was sent for every sub copy ordered. There is a TON of MTMTE #29 RI covers out there, and they are cover or about, but there are hardly any of these. I had a little bit of trouble finding one of these in high grade, but one just popped up on ebay in the UK, and it was cheaper than getting one stateside if you could even find one, which you can't. You should consider this Nick Roche cover the RI for MTMTE #29.
  18. And if they don't get ordered, they get 5 Below or Pulped. Or held at ransom by RMA asking each issue "HOW MANY OF YOU ARE THERE?!?!?!?!?!!?!"
  19. I had a really thought out reply, but I lost it. Not retyping it, but it was gold. Short story: Percentile variants percented Marvel out of big stores, like my local one and DCBS with their previous 200, 175, 150% requirements, and not being able to grow readership properly to support those numbers. Only now with the 90% goal that is still unattainable for some larger stores due to recent #1's and a high starting line slimming down, and only in the last few months have we had a few titles with no variant offered to get a gauge on their actual readership/collectorship, or a number check as I like to say. I pay closer attention to the US market too which said Dec-February was a little rough, but Feb looked better than the last 2 months.
  20. Why would it be the lowest print run? All you had to do was hit 90% of your order from #6, and it was an order all you want. Almost every retailer should qualify as everyone's order should've increased for the beginning of this story line. My local store isn't getting any WOP variants, and some of the other local stores were not getting a few of them and got others. Orders for my main lcs were too big in the beginning and they cannot carry the extra % even at 90. Extraordinary X-Men went down to less than 10 copies at the main store, no subscribers to it. Same reason Star Wars Action Figure Variants are drying up, unless marvel brings those % down from the heights they were at, my local store will never get them again. .
  21. Nice pull! My lcs had some of these for $35. I nabbed the Winter Soldier one thinking Civil War would make it a little more desirable, and left the Punisher in the variant box. I went back for the Punisher Variant, it was gone. Someone else won that battle.....
  22. When I find the "voice of reason", I'll be sure to have him contact you. You ARE the guy who gets an Orange placed in front of them, and convinces yourself it's a banana.
  23. WTF? Provocative? Do you even..... nope. No. NO. I've seen enough garbage posts where people bait people, not falling for it, and besides, you CONFIRMED my statement was true while trying to make yourself a part of the conversation. HA, Hi pot, I'm Kettle. If you wanna verbally spar, pm me. I am always up for any debate. Can we please keep this thread on topic?
