It is (for the sake of the context) but it is more than that. Clean cover variants by stores don't happen very often without their names plastered on the cover somewhere as a form of advertising. Barcodes on Back covers make my day at the store tricky, but great for cover appeal on nice books. 2+ Most of those variants are again, not done by the character creator a.k.a. the most controversial man of the industry, and even though his personal artwork has been ((Really)) bad at times, doing a really awesome good cover with a lower print run than the 1:100 variant of a newly relaunched All-New All-Different #1. I watch a lot of Liefeld variants and have seen action on all now related to Cable and Deadpool. We are just getting started here folks.

I wouldn't say that at all, this is one of the nicer "shop" or store exclusive variants, being the creator is the cover artist, and there is no store insignia on the front cover, as well as the barcode being on the back. The reason he hasn't sold out is because it was not well advertised at all, and all the Liefeld artwork haters wrote it off as "another store variant".

It has treated me very well because of an early pre-order mix up and some good communication, I was lucky enough to get a few free sketch covers, and a bunch of colors (that I paid for). I have sold a few sets local and on the bay, thankfully all were 9.6/9.8 looking books so I was getting good returns. 3000 Color/1500 Sketch = More Rare than 1:100 Beefcake Variant, and likely the most desireable of all Deadpool #1's. WOW! We don't know what the printed numbers are. Those are just the minimum for a Marvel book. Being they still have some, I'm assuming they got more. I confirmed with big red, 3000/1500. He never sold out from initial release.

$9.99 Cover Price Deadpool Variants

Like eBay sellers (that aren't members here and know how) actually knows wtf a 9.8 candidate looks like! It wasn't the square copy I paid for in the picture, and it happened twice now. I know what I am looking for when purchasing. Like I stated earlier, I am not paying slab tax on this book. If I wanted it slabbed, I'll submit it myself.

I cannot win with Silk #3. 2nd copy arrived today, and it too was not the same copy pictured on the auction, but this seller swears he had 3 copies and must have gotten them mixed up. So this one goes back to the seller and I hunt for at least a 9.4 looking copy.....which is seemingly impossible apparently. None graded so far as I can see, and I don't want to pay some other graders tax on a book that is already overpriced. I just want't to complete my Silk set. Not asking for much right?!?!!?

That buyer is going to be pleased he saved $2 over the other auction, and spent a little more on better shipping/packaging. No Danger Girl Scan as it is not mine to scan, it is on the wall at the store I hang out on Wednesdays and help out at. (Spec. Found a Danger Girl #2 Smoking Gun in a collection at the store today. It's not the ruby red one, but still nice none the less. Deadpool vs.X-Force that I kept. Edit....I need to clean my scanner.

My BIN sold as well as the auction that went for $122. I had 2 Best offers at $95 about 2 minutes before that auction closed, then someone popped the BIN trigger at $120. I had the BIN up for less than 24 hours.

So....the Deadpool vs X-Force is still available at that last place mentioned, for $95 now. FYI they were $50 4 days ago.

More will catch on, and obviously have with 3rd print #1 released today. Slow Burn on this one, but I managed to find 3 NM/NM+ Copies of #1, for cover. Local store was given the copies for free via some promotion, and decided not to mark them up even after I told them they should. Read all 3 issues so far, quite an interesting book! I describe this as a Final Fantasy feel in print. Deep, Mythic stories that are both historic and futuristic in feel.

Only SIGNED copies. So NOPE.

Heat of the Week: Old Man Logan Deodato 1:25 One seller blew out a slew of copies for $12.99 shipped, and all the rest are in the High teens/twenties+. Just unpacked the order, and read #1. It's great actually. So we have a good book, with decent Sorrentino art (Some of her more legible art), and a Deodato Variant. Is/Will Old Man Logan more popular than X-23/Wolverine though? The real question!!!!

It was this kind of talk that pushed the Wolverine #1 out of my reach. STAHP!!!!!!!

Hope in one hand, in another, you tell me which one gets fuller first, and which one yields you a true NM copy. I hate the price too, but I always have trouble finding a good raw copy if I wait too long on a book like this. the NM+ Ones will be snatched by other board members, and slabbed, and the ones that fail pre-screen are the ones that hit eBay again for round 2. I buy and sell a lot on eBay, this is not the norm. There are scumbags out there, but most true collectors have integrity.

Yeah, they all don't hold themselves to the same standards I hold myself to when selling on the bay. As for the Deadpool vs. X-Force Campbell....A good price a week ago was $50. With that latest sale hitting $90+, I'd imagine paying $75 is a win for now. If this gains popularity due to the movie, it may have a higher ceiling due to the popularity of Campbell.

Bad...besides flipertron up^ trying to cash in on that PGX 9.2 Totally true. .....Well I just got a Silk #3, but have to return it to the seller because he bait and switched it for a lesser condition copy. GRRRRR Had the nerve to try and stick me with the return postage too. Scumbag.... "It's Near Mint bro, no spine stress!".... Fails to mention the smegma on her leg, and the chips of color removed from the spine. Is there a bad eBay seller thread someone can link me to????I need to share so others don't get burnt. Good news, I have 2 copies of the Deadpool X-Force Campbell cover enroute, for a very good price! So good, the place I bought from has since raise their prices by a considerable amount, but these are still out there guys! Fingers crossed mine arrive as 9.8 candidates!

No shortage on print run, Koblish Secret Comic Variant is the only variant, and the new character is easily ret-con'd. Tread lightly. Buy 2 copies. Not 3+.

Different cover with Rita holding Green Rangers helmet for 2nd print. How will it effect the others? IDK, make them more desirable for people who were sleeping on the 1:50 and 1:100 covers? Let the people who want to read it get a chance to? Moving on...

Hope so. I just got my Suicide Squad 1 (11/11) back from CGC at a 9.6, the now classic Batman Harley Quinn #nn 1st print at 9.8, and I have the first run HQ #1 singed by Dodson on its way back from CGC. What is it about SS #6 and #7 that get a premium? What about the Gothem City Sirens #1? Suicide Squad is her origin story, (3rd one for new 52), as well as Detective 23.2 and secret origins. Everything Harley is vastly overpriced already, and only going to get worse before it crashes. Sell Sell Sell IMO.
