  1. I almost forgot Wolverine 7 was still listed for sale. One final bump... $95 shipped!
  2. Bah, tag me when you post something good... In all seriousness
  3. I’ll admit it took me a minute to pick up on that #50 being the 2 slash variant cover. Guess 9.8 standards on the other side of the street are slipping.
  4. We just completed a superb transaction, could not have gone any smoother
  5. I see what you're saying, but man that's a long time to keep your money on ice just to gain a few bucks a share.
  6. Were there any other trading days on Cap #3 between 11/17 and 2/11?
  7. Wow... So it took about three months for this: "Actually, it is just as well for me because I have decided to keep the book. I know you aren't going to like it and, no I do not have another offer from another buyer. just looking at this great cover and asking myself, why did I decide to sell it in the first place." To become this: Actually, it is just as well for me because I have decided to keep the book. I know you aren't going to like it and, no I do not have another offer from another buyer. just looking at this great cover and asking myself, why did I decide to sell it for so little money in the first place.
  8. @thewritestuff - is that the same book you got screwed out of?
  9. One more bump for Mysterio, I'll probably put him back in his lounge chair with a mai tai sometime over the weekend if he doesn't find a new home.
  10. And the ethics award goes to… That guy! You know what, I think I’ll start selling mid-grade unsigned, un-slabbed books as SS 9.4 yellow labels. Some extra effort on the buyer’s part required post-sale.
  11. For starters, your logic puts every dealer out of business. But debating you overall is pointless since you refuse to accept the fundamental truth that a large swath of comic books no longer serve their original purpose as readable entertainment and have 100% become investment instruments, whether one terms them as collectibles or commodities. Bagging on rallyrd is one thing; their business model leaves a lot to be desired. Bagging on comic books as investments is just plain ignorance of economic reality.
  12. Don't you get it? Its fine if you make a profit, just as long you don't intend to make a profit. Because heaven forbid a commodity gain value the "wrong" way.
  13. I think its only a small subset of "we" that is actually arguing that. And whether or not that small subset wants to acknowledge that collectorism and capitalism will always be intertwined, they will always be intertwined.
  14. Leaving one more big thank you for taking part in my 2020 charity thread!!!
  15. Dylan’s last post in that thread is incredibly ironic.
  16. Seriously, this guys listings are infuriating. His 6.0 ASM 129 is advertised as NM/MT. "Yes, this book has 46 different flaws, but just press it and it'll be brand new!" And people fall for this. eBay gonna eBay.
  17. Whoever bid this book up to $2 grand deserves to lose their money: Amazing Spider-man #18 NM++ Unrestored 1st App Ned Leeds | eBay Hint to genius -- Back. Cover.
