  1. Beautiful Superman 18. Anytime I see this issue it always seems to have dust shadows, but yours is pretty flawless. Cool youtube videos as well. Keep up the good work.
  2. Sad to hear Invincible is ending. I stopped reading comics for about 20 years, and Invincible was the book the piqued my interest and got me reading again. I've been following the title since issue 14 came out, and of course I then read the back issues I missed.
  3. IMO the worst revision in the original trilogy was the added band scene at Jabba's Palace in ROTJ. The CGI looked like something out of Sesame Street and completely felt out of place. Some other alterations were OK I guess, but I'd prefer unaltered versions myself.
  4. I've had several packages over the years that were supposed to delivered on a certain day that did not come. Many times the tracking # would provide no updates to the package status for days. Then, several days later, it shows up again with the tracking # and it's "on truck for delivery". So, since it's only been a couple days, I'd say there is certainly still a chance your package will be back on route. Good luck.
  5. It's hard to pick just one, but I'd say "Genesis of the Daleks" is my favorite, and probably "Day of the Doctor" for new Doctor Who. Granted there are MANY episodes I've yet to see, so I've got lots more episodes to eventually watch.
  6. Though I did really enjoy Matt Smith's time, I can't see them bringing him back as the regular Doctor. However, I would like to see him make a guest spot in a "multiple Doctor" type episode like they've done in the past. The last one "Day of the Doctor" was one of my favorites. Looking forward to some new episodes.
  7. Interesting that you mention there are now 74 copies of G.I. Joe #21 graded at 9.8. Looking way back at some posts in the first 20 pages of this thread, even in 2006 (six years after CGC opened it's doors) there were still zero 9.8 copies.
  8. Not that I know of, but I know of a few collectors that are getting out of the toys as they continue to become more brittle. The plastic and rubber used for the o-rings used in vintage GI Joe construction is not the most flexible and time has not been kind. I only own one MOC 1980s Joe, and don't plan on buying any more of them due to the unfortunate o-ring problem. I don't collect modern toys, so I have fun collecting loose figures and vehicles from the 1984-86 time period (which was the time I collected Joes as a kid). I look for figures/vehicles loose, and sometimes with a nice conditioned opened box as well, and that has been a very satisfying collecting experience for me.
  9. He didn't appear in ASM again until #145, but he did have some appearances prior to that in both Captain America & Daredevil comics. I agree with everyone that ASM 20 & 29 were both excellent reads. Some nice copies being shown here.
  10. I really like the look of those old Atari boxed games. Brings back some great memories of my Atari playing days.
  11. Nice group shot! I think I like the #12 cover the best of that bunch. That's interesting about the insert in the #1 & #2. I didn't realize it was not attached to the interior.
  12. Lots of cool books here that I've never seen before.
  13. Lots of cool info on your Star Wars blog. I especially like the Star Wars Weekly #11 cover with Darth Vader looking at he names of Luke & R2 on the monitor. I never noticed that before. Thanks for the response.
  14. Does anyone here collect the UK series Star Wars Weekly? I picked up a few nice copies recently, and hope to pick up a few more. Some covers are just taken direct from the US series, but there are many really cool totally original covers as well. I see there are only a small handful of issues on the CGC census. I guess I didn't realize CGC graded them. Is this something new, or are the issues just not worth enough to justify the grading cost?
  15. Here's a page of OA from issue #9 that I picked up quite a while ago. I used to be a regular reader of the book, but for some reason I stopped around issue 50 or so. I may have to pick up a few trades and catch up on things.
  16. I think the Catman cover run is about as good as it gets and can stack up against almost any other GA title. Some great books being posted. (thumbs u
