  1. I run a house for children with disabilities, and I can't find anywhere that will allow me to order 6 copies of Flash #1.
  2. Is King's Batman a worthy investment? Anyone here fill a short box? I know the print will be astronomical, and that DC is allowing returns, but I'm hoping that King's writing will drive value, as well as give an engaging story. Will the print be double or tripple that of the last #1, which was 188,420 (09/2011)? It's gonna be large, what with DC Rebirth having a print of 235,791, Batman 52 at 102,197, and then of course DKIII #1 having a print of 440,234. I myself found 3 aspen b/w Turner variants, 1 Tim Sale variant, and 10 cover A. Opinions are welcome.
  3. He could be used as a villain in this and turn good.
  4. The book is awesome. Whether this is able to hold its value, is anyone's guess. This was my favorite #1 from the relaunch.
  5. Anyone notice how well the moon n knight #1 1:25 is doing? Actually who cares about sales? The book is really great. I can't explain how awesome it is.
  6. Aren't the true believers Deadpool still selling for $1?
  7. That was a 1:25. I'm speaking of the 1:50 Stacy Lee that will go with issue #1.
  8. I do still have a color and a b/w. I gave away a bunch as bonus books in some sales I had. The shop was super nice and communicated well. I do like that it has a lower print run than the 1:100 though.
  9. The latest Deadpool #1 Liefeld variant is continuing to rise in price. http://m.ebay.com/itm/2-Deadpool-1-Rob-Liefeld-BIG-RED-Variants-B-W-SKETCH-Color-RARE-NR-/351578182950?nav=SEARCH http://m.ebay.com/itm/Deadpool-1-VOL-5-Rob-Liefeld-Big-Red-Comics-Variant-Set-NM-MT-/151979980627?nav=SEARCH
  10. My shop had two copies, I grabbed one. The cover looked a lot different than the preview image that was floating around. Joker looks much more devilish. I also could not find this online, outside of eBay.
  11. http://m.ebay.com/itm/Mighty-Morphin-Power-Rangers-0-1-100-White-Ranger-Variant-/391363639581?nav=BIDDING_ACTIVE Power Rangers is about to sell for close to $300.
  12. How much higher can the green and white go? I see each went up again last night. Anyone have a 1:100 under $190?
  13. The Power Rangers book is continuing to rise in price. The variants and regular issues had a great day. I've got two sets of the five covers, and none of the variants, but I'm keeping my eyes on these titles. A set of 5 is going for $40-55, the 1:50 is auctioning at little over $140 shipped, and the 1:100 has auctioned at a little over $235 with shipping.
  14. i wish Silk was hotter too. She's getting there, and this Campbell cover will revive some interest in her other issues. I am totally blown away by the prices and reception to the latest Power Rangers comic. The 1:50 and 1:100 are certainly rising, and the other five covers (one for each Ranger) are sold out all over. I'm wishing I had preordered the 1:50 or 1:100, but I picked up two sets of the other five covers. I'm wondering what the print run will be for each cover, not that I really care, because the story is good enough to carry issue 0 by itself.
  15. As far as moderns go, that Campbell Silk 3 variant is sold out all over my area. Can't find even a beat up one. I see a few BIN have sold, and an auction went for $112. Where does this go from here? I missed it at $40, should I wait and hope for a major drop in price?
  16. Just get 'em from this guy CBCS = I'll pass That cover is a bit off putting to me. I do like the future of issue 25, but the print run in through the roof at over 290,000 copies. The 2nd print variant is nice and has a 1/14 of the print run. Last year I grabbed a couple copies of each, and a copy of both of the covers for 34.
  17. The Silk 1:25 is now listed at $100 on the bay. I didn't grab one at $40 when I should of. Anyone wanna sell a boardie one?
  18. It's out tomorrow. It's supposed to be derivative, in fact it's the definition of derivative. It's a copy of another's art. I think it's beautiful.
  19. I think the A-Force NWA cover that debuts tomorrow will become iconic. Not saying it will be rare, but it's definitely cool. Should Singularity or this new villain (which makes a first appearance in this issue) have a good story, this book will only become more sought after. It's also an Adam Hughes, and his covers are usually in demand. The Campbell cover is doing well in pre-orders on the bay, and I do also like the 1:25 Ibanez cover, but the Hughes cover looks great to me.
  20. Some books that I think will be hot or hotter in 2016 are: 1- Southern Bastards. Tons of room for growth as the television show progresses. The story is interesting, and done well. Pretty low print run on some issues. I can see this book quadrupling in price. Right now you can probably find it for $10 or under. 2- Hyperion. Lots of the squadron supreme stories can be found for a good price. From the toys and cartoons that Marvel is releasing, it's pretty obvious that they are trying to increase the popularity of Hyperion. 3- Citizen V/Thunderbolts. There was a little bit of talk about Red Hulk/Thunderbolts this year, and i think a Thunderbolts movie or tv show could be received well, and would work well with Agents of Shield. 4- Wes Craven related books. Both The Disciples and Coming of Rage came out this year, but Wes Craven also passed, but his company is still going, and either of these stories could be made for other medias. The Disciples had a press release before the book was even out about being developed by Craven's company. Also Steve Niles worked on these books, and they are really great reads. 5- White Fox, Guillotine, Gwenpool, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Singularity, America Chavez, Synapse (basically any of the Inhumans), and Shredded Man.
  21. X-force 99 is also the first Shatterstar. Not hard to see that book making some waves.
  22. I've been searching for the Campbell Silk variant so much that Google is now advertising Silk dresses to me. Haha. Wrong keyword buddies.
