Anyone think Justice League Dark #1 will rise with the movie announcement? I passed on it back in 2011, and now I'm wondering why I did.

90k seems high. I think it's somewhere between an average of their (Image) highest selling book which is walking dead at around 83k, and the other BKV book which sold 79k for number 1, and 52k for number 2. I think between 70k and 80k. You've got to remember that retailers had to plan their budgets for a lot of new marvel books on the same day. My shop usually orders 100+ walking dead and only got 30 paper girls.

I have never seen this many boardies liking one new title.

That Kirby variant for TMNT 50 is pretty sweet and selling well. The regular cover is 7.99, so I don't see many stores ordering a bunch to get this cover. At most i'm thinking 1,500 copies.

From the looks of the various covers I guess these will be 1st appearances of many new Marvel characters similar to the Ms Marvel 17 2nd print. So i'm guessing the Marquez A Cover (cover B) with Spider-Gwen, Ms. Marvel, etc. on the front. That cover is sold out at TFAW...still some at Midtown. I like both. What is that Monster cover at $10? What's everyone's thought on Avenging Spider-Man 9 (Carol Danvers as Captain Marvrel)? I see that the print run was pretty small for an issue like this (a little over 37,000). I asked this elsewhere, but would you pick up a second copy?

I'm a person_too_unaware_of_social_graces and I think I read what he wrote wrong. I think what he says was that image printed an extra 24,000 on top of retailer orders.

I think the spec on this may be low as Terry Hokeness has said he ordered an extra 24,000 issues.

So now we're just ordering from a print run that has already been ordered. I think the more we talk about it, the higher the chances of a complete sell out before the release date. I've never ordered more than two of a title, but my gut says order 10. Am I crazy?
