  1. I didn't want to be that guy, but I agree. That cover is pretty ugly in my eyes.
  2. I've enjoyed the way the story has built up, but I'm ready to see what she will do.
  3. Looks like it. I think the low prints of southern bastards will be sought after. I really enjoy this book, and I think the story is right for other media.
  4. Store variants are about the same usually as a 1:25 from what I've seen. A little more, a little less.
  5. This could be a hot dog or a cold wiener, but I think the Campbell variant for Gwenpool will go up (although the print run may be huge). I think the Ferry variant also may have legs, but they are already $18, or $11ish of you buy ten. I'm not buying multiple of either, but I think I will get one of each.
  6. The books that I think will increase in value include We Can Never Go Home (every first print, and first print variant, big things for this title) Paper Girls (the response to this title has been very positive) A-force (should Singularity be fleshed out and gain some popularity, that Hans variant would probably become more sought after) New Mutants 26 (first full legion) Amazing Spider-Man 4 (Cindy moon Silk) Captain America 360 (have you seen that leaked trailer footage? crossbones looks really cool) Guardians of knowhere Gwenom variant (only a matter of time before this idea arrives in a story) Southern Bastards (of all the optioned television shows, I think this has the best chance to gain an audience) Spider-Gwen 2 vol. 2 (I think this is the first full appearance of the captain America from Earth-65) Thunderbolts 45 (citizen v) Uncanny Avengers vol. 3 #1 (that Campbell variant could be very pricey, should the Shredded Man or Synapse stick around) Contest of Champions (I think this is the best speculation comic, as far as the new Marvel characters is concerned. Both Guillotine and White Fox could be popular, as they both had some intriguing character concepts that I think will find them an audience.
  7. Didn't she appear in issue #1? Unnamed only last page. 2 is the full-appearance, I would think.
  8. Anyone think Spider-Gwen 2 with that earths Captain America could go up? It has a 1:25 variant.
  9. Look at those numbers for tmnt 50. I think the Kirby cover could have a future.
  10. I think those Ramos variants (though a four pack wonder) are very undervalued in 9.8.
  11. This book is about to take a back seat to Deadpool #1. White Fox makes her 1st FULL appearance in issue #1 of All New All Different Marvel Deadpool. how so...she's on the cover of Contest of Champions and in 3 pages of CoC. Huh? I read it too fast and missed her completely in the issue I guess. However, Gambit had more panels than that in the X-Men Annual and everyone still called it a Cameo. We shall see I guess. Her first full is definitely contest of champions. She's got a whole story dedicated to her in there. That yu variant is gonna be huge. Deadpool will definitely drive up demand. I see she is in Gwenpool too.
  12. Are these numbers counting both covers or just the regular color cover?
  13. I love that excitement. I think Latour writes an energetic, and well written spider story.
  14. That's probably just a matter of the magenta running a little strong and/or the cyan running a little weak during a portion of the print run. Variations (not variants) during production happen all the time. I think there is some problems that are associated with this comic. I'm not sure if it's because of the extra size but out of the eight comics that I ended up ordering from different sellers all of them have a large grabber mark that is color breaking. Of course the one copy that I had bought from my local comic shop, that did not have a single flaw, I sold to someone in Texas today. The nine pack of different covers that I bought all had the same problems. Even the two copies that I ordered from Midtown had the damage.
  15. 3,000 color / 1,500 sketch Thank you. I imagine the regular cover will probably hit 200,000 copies.
  16. I appreciate your insight. On a similar note. What do people think of the rob liefeld store exclusive for Deadpool #1? I think I read there will only be 1500 copies. I found the store that Rob worked with for this. http://www.bigredcomics.com
  17. Yes, I'd rather buy the version that they only printed 250 copies of rather than the one that they produced 15,000+ of. But the current market will decide that the 15,000 copy version is the most desirable. Mind boggling. (and it wont last:) It really doesn't make sense for this to be the case. It might in the instance of the NYCC Enormous #1 vs the Enormous 1A because the 1A came out 3 months earlier than the NYCC #1 but in the case of a book coming out the same day ? Not a chance that the higher print holds more value long term. Its becoming easier to predict what will happen with these comics as there is now a little recent history on similar books. Short prints simply hold up better whether it be Saga, East of West, Five Ghosts, Enormous, and the list goes on. Its doubtful that WCNGH will be the book that breaks the mold even if it starts off that way. I hope you are right. I bought a few copies of the smaller print run variants for a few of the black mask books: wcngh, disciples, young terrorists, and although the regular covers have almost a 99% larger print run, they still sell higher than the 1 of 250 covers. Especially wcngh. Disciples is still very inexpensive though, but if that media deal does come around, that book might hit wcngh prices. As far as story, I think young terrorists was the best so far, then disciples, then wcngh. Weird yellow book chasing market we are in.
  18. Anyone still finding Clandestino on the shelves? I'm looking for a copy, but the cheapest I'm finding is around $14 shipped. Did it really sell out that fast?
  19. I think you mean New Mutants 25 I don't think so, or at least cgc has the full appearance as 26. First appearance 25, first full and first cover 26 Imagine if people actually opened the books to see for themselves what the "appearance" was. This one would be close and shut. I've always gone by #25, but whatever you have the most copies of is fine with me. Just one of each. I don't sell comics either. 25 seems like a definite cameo though.
