  1. Looks like the IMAX Enhanced versions on D+ give you a little more bang than the streaming services.
  2. Yup, the same audience that gave Batman Forever an A- and Catwoman a B.
  3. Saw it yesterday and it sucked. Big and dumb with uneven cgi. Sometimes the dinosaurs looked flawless and other times they were clearly rushed. I’m talking about how smooth the movements appear. The AppleTV Prehistoric Planet doc actually looked better. The story was as ridiculous as many of the action scenes. They tried to play this out like a Bond or MI movie at times. Was nice to see the original cast but they couldn’t save this. What a waste of film and talent. As much as I hate reboots/remakes they just need to go back to the source material and give us a proper adaptation of Jurassic Park and The Lost World. Add Crichton’s name to the title as well.
  4. I paid quite the premium on some of the art that he released over the years. I’ll bet the dam will bust at some point and you’ll be able to get his OA at better prices.
  5. Saw this thread bumped and got excited for a second thinking there’s movement. I would just be happy if they went back and remastered the original MTV show in HD and maybe redo the CGI scenes.
  6. Snyder and some guy named Heinberg wrote the story for Wonder Woman while Patty Jenkins wrote WW84. They should let Snyder write and direct WW3 but I believe Jenkins is confirmed to be handling those duties again.
  7. You ever left a lengthy voicemail on a wrong number? Yeah…
  8. I would still love a “prequel” show of his dysfunctional life leading up to the movie.
  9. How is this just now getting a 4k Blu-ray release? I’ve had this in 4k on iTunes for years.
  10. I wonder if they can get away with Pop Rocks.
  11. The backlash has started online as well and I agree with the pitchforks on this one. He was exploited in his later years and now he will continue his servitude in the afterlife. I wonder where his paycheck is going. The classy move would be to use that license for one thing and one thing only. To end every Marvel movie’s post credit scene in remembrance of Stan Lee with a photo of him.
  12. Interesting, I just caught up on this and didn’t know there was a little “controversy” with that ridiculous segment at the Oscars. Most Cheer Worthy Moment? Ever? Really? Maybe if it were limited to the current Oscar year, it would make more sense but there were movies from 1999, 2006, 2019 and 2021. So I guess all movies were eligible for the category. And there were some terrible picks. I was in the theater when Neo did the bullet dodge and you know what? No one cheered. Was it cool? Hell yes. I was also in the theater when Brody blew up a shark and I was completely taken out of the movie when the cheering started. I was a young kid and will never forget that. As far as the five movies and scenes they picked for the Oscar’s, yes, I will totally give it to ZSJL as that was an amazing moment with amazing effects and music. But its not saying much considering the competing scenes.
  13. Almost had an Apocalypto vibe to it. Now that was an ultimate chase flick. Prey should take a page from that. Not a bad teaser, I’m interested. But are there really any bad teasers?
  14. Yeah, I got those T-MO alerts as well and just shook my head since I already pre-paid for a year of Paramount+ and I get AppleTV in the bundle I need just for iCloud storage and Music.
  15. David Cronenbergs body horror run from the 70s and 80’s are nostalgic favorites of mine. Looks like he’s back now with Crimes of the Future. This is not a remake of his 1970 film of the same name. Maybe he forgot he already used that title? Anyway its great to see him back. And if you haven’t seen his son Brandon’s Possessor, its a wild ride and I loved every disturbing minute of it.
  16. The first two films rival the current trilogy that just wrapped. No Way Home used its cameos poorly. Forced them in just to say, hey remember these guys? Instead of giving them something meaningful to contribute to the movie. I think people rave about it because they were just happy to see the reunion. The first two Spider-Man flicks were on par with the first two Nolan Batman flicks. Followed by a weaker third act. It’s sad there hasn’t been a better Spider-Man movie since then.
  17. Disney+ is at a great price right now. I get the annual sub and its worth it compared to what Netflix and HBOMAX cost annually. I think I’ve posted this before but I’ll stick with them until they exceed $10 monthly. At that point they better have some serious must-see content for me to keep it.
