The Snyder cut is old news now so its funny there are still haters out there drumming up anything they can fling. And its all good because I finally got to see and own this. I’m not a Snyder defender and didn’t care for Aquaman, BvS or the first release of JL but damn I love this one.

Isn’t this the last film in Phase Four? There’s no saving it. Hopefully BP2 stands alone with minimal connections to this lackluster run.

If they get Cavill and then Bautista as the Kurgan I could be down for this. My first thought was Highlander 1 should be untouchable but if they can make it fresh and a product for its time then.. wait, I’m giving way too much credit for the guy who makes John Wick movies. And I love me some Wick. 😒 But Highlander is not a straight action flick. Though a bit dated, this scene still gets me. And there is no musical equivalent to Queen today so they are just going to have to use Queen. And you know how much it would cost to license Queen tunes for your soundtrack today? Almost as much as Cavill’s mustache removal.

Same here. I don’t care who they could cast because Escape from New York should never be remade. It should be retired like Ted Williams’ number. Though Gerard Butler would be good fan casting.

I agree that the only time a press check is warranted is in the event you pick up someone else’s gun off the battlefield. But lately Hollywood gunfighters press check right after reloading their own gun. That’s training your muscle memory for failure.

And another thing, if you’re going to remake a Stephen King movie, don’t mess with Firestarter, Christine, Stand by me or Shawshank Redemption. Please do a proper Running Man, Apt Pupil and Dark Tower series. But I get that they can’t translate the written horror of Apt Pupil onto the screen. And that ending would never fly in todays climate.

I F’n loved the original. New version is not fit to wipe the originals arse if that were at all possible or conceivable.

Dear John Wick franchise, please stop with the press checks. Anyone as legendary as the fictional character of Wick would know what condition his weapon is in right after he loads it. I guess we can thank Taran Tactical for that.

I haven’t seen Nope yet but I should have chose that over Thor. And I loved Ragnarok.

TWD SDCC Trailer: Finish the Fight | Returns October 2nd
▫️ replied to The Brain's topic in The Movie Forum
I know, thats exactly what I thought when this thread popped up. I thought this show ended years ago as I haven’t heard any chatter about it at work like I used to back in the day. Ten years ago, people would come into work with “I missed last nights episode so everyone just shut the hell up!” -
TWD SDCC Trailer: Finish the Fight | Returns October 2nd
▫️ replied to The Brain's topic in The Movie Forum
It just went off the rails. Season 1 was so good. I have rewatched that first run a couple times. I think the fact they got rid of Frank Darabont because they wanted to reduce the shows budget in order to double the episode count really hurt the quality. -
TWD SDCC Trailer: Finish the Fight | Returns October 2nd

I gave up TWD years ago, probably a year after Glenn got taken out. I’ll probably catch up on it eventually. If nothing else at least for the zombies. -
Hulu's PREDATOR: PREY directed by Dan Trachtenberg (2022)
▫️ replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
I loved the tough guy throwback cast, and I don’t remember hating the serial killer because I thought he was a doctor or something but the star of the show for me were those demon hunting dogs. Those were an awesome and logical addition to the Predator lore. I remember being in theater watching this alone and after the opening scene I just said to myself this is gonna be a fun ride.- 371 replies

Universal's THE MUNSTERS movie directed by Rob Zombie (9/27/22)

If it got a perfect RT and MC score and a bootleg popped up online… nah I’m still not interested in seeing it. Growing up with it was enough.- 80 replies

Hulu's PREDATOR: PREY directed by Dan Trachtenberg (2022)
▫️ replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
Well if thats what it turns out to be, it would be disappointing. I’m hoping there’s more to it. But this series hasn’t had a great track record so who knows. Predators was pretty cool and it was just a fan fiction love letter to the original. But it was fun and that was worth something. I’m hoping this one is at least fun.- 371 replies

I know a 5 ft nothing cross-fit woman that can take me out and I’m kind of a big deal. (My mom said so). Hard to write off a movie with that premise. Not that I’m defending it, but I can give it a chance.- 371 replies

The trailer looks great but that doesn’t mean anything. Should have a thread here called Great Trailers to Sh*t movies. But it does look great and we need a departure from the recent failure. Hopefully its violent, cool and fun.- 371 replies

I have to say, I’m not adverse to watching bootlegs and have my go-to sites but I first got HBOMAX to watch this and will continue supporting the monumental effort that went into bringing us this version. I’m also going to gift a copy to my sister and another to a friend.

Got my copy on iTunes and Gray is included! Also interesting to see how they listed the Justice League Trilogy bundle. If only.
