Thats a great theme. Never seen that done before in movies or tv. 

Well no matter how it turns out, at least they nailed the casting. Ali is the perfect choice. I’m praying they don’t screw this up. I doubt they will go R so I hope they at least push the limits of the PG-13 rating. Can’t wait for that first trailer.

I wish they would replace Cheadle as Rhodes. Its funny, they hired two great actors to play Rhodes and they were both terrible. Neither ever read a single issue of Iron Man where Rhodes took the mantle. Snipes would have been perfect when he was Blade young.

Avatar is the worst thing Cameron has ever done and he made Piranha II: The Spawning.

Horrible trailer and my initial reaction is easy pass. Will wait for the reviews to decide if I stream it or just google the ending after release. And I like Dave.

Expected to make 180 million worldwide. How much is a movie supposed to make above its budget to not be considered a dud? Not defending this movie which I haven’t seen, I’m just wondering. Double the budget? Triple the budget?

Wonder Woman and WW84 are very different films and Jenkins directed both of them. The difference is that she wrote the screenplay for WW84. So her direction seems much better than her writing ability. Maybe WW84 was a fluke in her writing resume but it was definitely a dud. I was looking forward to her doing Rogue Squadron because she was genuinely passionate about it. Maybe they should hire the Top Gun crew to make Rogue Squadron. They’ve already used Star Wars material so there’s that.

I think a lot of people are overlooking this one with their own perceived ideas as I did. I was not expecting something this entertaining.

This is comedy gold. It’s not MCU comedy. I didn’t care that they turned Thor into a joke (no offense to die-hard fans) but please don’t mess with Blade.

Going to be next to impossible to top Snipes as Blade. One actor made that role iconic. Snipes owned it. The slow walk in scene and then the smile.. it doesn’t get any more badass than that. I had high hopes for the MCU’s version of Blade but then there was.. you know. Phase 4. 

My advice would be to go in a completely different direction and really hit the source material. Wolfman and Colan. Give us a 70’s Grindhouse epic horror mash-up of Vincent Price and Rob Zombie.

That’s your gauge? CinemaScore. Where Catwoman and Green Lantern come out with B’s? Where Shawshank Redemption and 2 Fast 2 Furious get the same grade?  Thats the hill?  Thats the hill you choose?

Here’s a better gauge than CS and Rotten T below even though I think a 64 is very generous.

And don’t mind the user reviews, thats part of Spanky’s Women-Haters club.
