  1. Agreed, which is why I appreciate Netflix more for giving us these big budget originals on the small screen.
  2. I do have both actually. Netflix is free through T-Mobile. Just saying if I had to choose one...
  3. Why not, Netflix does it. The Irishman was 200M. Red Notice is supposed to be the same budget. 6 Underground was 150M. They gave Zack Snyder close to 100M to make a zombie flick. I could never trade Netflix for Disney+. I already own all the Star Wars and must-have Marvel movies.
  4. Yup, and that was a good response to the forced set up. I’ve always liked: How do you know if a SEAL is in the room? He’ll tell you.
  5. I made it about halfway through Bloodshot. I might try to finish it one day. Eye rolling moments like when he meets the team and they introduce the SEAL on a treadmill and he just throws out there, “I was on the Bin Laden raid.” When no one asked. Of course I can’t stand Vin Diesel in any role other than his Riddick character which he pulls off nicely.
  6. I still remember the Black Talon uproar.
  7. Don’t thank him, it was either jail or the Army.
  8. I’m good without the Snyder cut. Just give me another season of Doom Patrol please.
  9. All I want is Crichton’s Jurassic Park and Lost World. They didn’t have the budget in the first movie for some of the novels larger action scenes. And the Lost World movie went way off track from the novel. But we will never get a proper Crichton version because dinosaurs + PG-13 = $. Dinosaurs + R and you end up with a travesty like Carnosaur.
  10. I haven’t seen Dark Phoenix yet but I definitely agree with your top pick. Not only the best X-Men movie but I enjoyed it more than any Avengers movie. I think Logan would be my number two pick on this list.
  11. I loved DOFP so I’m planning on renting this anyway. I wonder if I should just wait for the inevitable extended or directors cut. I know I preferred The Rogue Cut for DOFP. https://www.cinemablend.com/news/2474641/original-dark-phoenix-ending-included-skrulls-and-a-huge-new-york-battle-according-to-tye-sheridan
  12. I still can’t believe this plays on my iPhone. But I mainly use my iPad and Xbox controller. https://youtu.be/0E44DClsX5Q
  13. Yes, it would have been beneficial for your family. For me alone, it’s $12. In the evening. And I’m paying for the big screen and sound. I have no problem waiting until that $19.99 rental price becomes a purchase price in 2-3 months.
  14. In Las Vegas I pay $12. So I’m willing to shell out $12 for a rental fee. There is just too much content out there. I’m looking forward to some of Netflix’s upcoming big releases more than Black Widow. And I get Netflix for free through T-Mobile.
  15. So I don’t have to pay your suggested $49.99 for one viewing?
  16. So what if I’m not a family of four? Just me?
  17. $6.99 for a 24 hour rental. $19.99 for purchase. In line with standard new release pricing. If they decide to price gouge then I’ll just watch it for free on one of many sites that it will be available on.
  18. Well it was just released on iTunes and they are price gouging unless it’s an error. $19.99 should be a purchase price, not a rental price. The Hunt also just popped up on iTunes for the same rental price.
  19. I stopped at 2. Couldn’t imagine them getting better.
  20. I didn’t know that. I thought there was a Man of Steel 2 planned before or around the time Justice League was in production.
  21. I don’t know why they are going with the prequel route. I thought Hardy was going to continue in another episode called Mad Max: The Wastelands. They should move forward.
  22. I loved it but I’m surprised the critics did as well. Held a perfect score on Rotten for a while eventually settling to a 97%.
