  1. So let me get this straight, you are nominating someone for a block list in regards to a transaction that you have had nothing to do with. Yup because the behavior is objectively foul. Buying a CGC sealed book and than asking for a return is obnoxious and deserves to be a basis for a block. I would want this block if I was another seller Did you ask Kav about this? Kav is not the seller. Kav is just a run of the mill apologist for dysfunctional systems. 9 days a member, and already analyzing the place... Under this name, anyway. -slym Nevertheless, if the seller is to nominate a crappy buyer, I'd like to have warthog636 added to the block list for "behaviour that is objectively foul.'
  2. If someone refused to ship with proper protection even after being asked, I'd consider cancelling the order.
  3. would anyone get a comics code authority stamp tattoo?
  4. DD1 is such a killer book - still undervalued, but soaring. Get 'em while they're hot
  5. The 1.0 and 1.8 above look under-graded... nice copies...
  6. Those look incredible. The Batman gives me chills... that's an icy stare!
  7. for me, the staining is the big culprit here... but still, even based on the grader notes, it seems harshly graded.
  8. Thanks so much - I was SO happy to finally get this...It's been on my want list for quite a while
  9. Bought this from a boardie a couple months back
  10. Just picked this up from an awesome boardie
  11. 8.0 - too bad about that upper staple I think even in it's current shape, perhaps a 8.5 isn't out of the question. minus the staple wear, we're looking at a solid 9.0 IMO
  12. 5.0 (maybe a 4.5 depending on whether there is staining and how bad those BC wrinkles are)
  13. ^ 100% true What's not amazing is that you have these old hockey cards. What is amazing is that someone actually wants them in the first place. I've got binders of cards at home not worth anything. If someone wanted these cards for comics, I'd count my blessings. The best trades are the ones where both sides view it as a Win-Win and walk away happy.
  14. Perhaps a general rule of thumb for LCS owners is to offer the cover price per book on GA, SA or BA collections. LCS: These are old, no one wants these. Comic owner: Okay, how much will you give me for them? LCS: They aren't worth much more today than the cover price. 10 cents each?
