Lowells at Pike Place for breakfast. Looking forward to the Dungeness crab omelet.
Always try to hit Lowells and Uli's next door. Best bratwurst outside of Munich. As for the con itself, I was impressed by the GA/SA selection last year--particularly from some of the more local dealers.

Bought one of these in a past show (this is not mine, need to unpack it).
I'd not a huge D&D toy collector, but thought this was killer.
Note to buyers, gift sets are a pretty safe bet for 80s toys and earlier. Just didn't make near as many as the non-gift sets.
Mine was opened, but fortunate to pay a solid price.
The saddle is pretty funny because they sculpted War Duke's legs into the sides.

Because nothing says "Evil" like a gift set. I was a lucky recipient of said set back in the day. Great find!

Josh, outstanding copy! When you said 9.6 run I thought you were insane but I think this puts you pretty close. Congrats!
I'll get there--eventually. And when that day happens, @Batmanderson will cosplay as Paste Pot Pete for all future cons we attend.

I can't speak for anyone else, but this book has value to me, that's why I bought it.
And that's the most important aspect of collecting for fun. Nice find!

Yeah, that copy is freaking sweet! I love the #12 cover.
Agreed. It didn't take long to talk myself into picking that copy up last week.

2019's Goals include:
1. Continue the high grade SA Avengers run.
2. Hopefully pull the trigger on a Hulk 1.
3. Continue finding nice GA Actions for my son's collection.
4. Enjoy the con in Seattle in March.

Sorry to have missed this one, as I was working this holiday weekend and couldn't get away from Fort Worth. Maybe next time!

One of these days I'm going to convince both @Batmanderson and @comicquant to cosplay as PPP and go to a major con. I'm not sure when it'll be, but I'll trick them somehow.

out west the best cons...
Emerald City Comicon in Seattle is very god.
Planetcomicon used to be great, havent been in over a decade (it's in Kansas)I'll second Emerald City as a good one. Went last year for the first time, and was very impressed with the selection of GA/SA available. Looking forward to the show in March.
