Signature's are tricky, some folks like them, some do not, as far as CGC is concerned the book would get a "Qualified Green Label" since the signatures were not witnessed by a CGC representative, if you wanted a "Universal Blue Label" the signature would be treated as a defect and graded accordingly. As far as a grade, disregarding the signature, all I see is a moderately blunted lower left corner with color loss along with edge/spine wear in the same location, especially on the rear cover. 23. Here is what happens when you place minimum posts counts in order to post in certain sections. I am an Admin on another forum (Automobile Related) and the site Admins have made it so you have to have a minimum of 10 posts before you can send PM's or post in the Buy/Sell/Trade section, this was done due to spammers, however, folks that are new and only looking to buy or sell and do not have the required 10 posts will open a thread related to Buy/Sell/Trade in the general forums which is not permitted, I get the distinction of removing those threads and notifying the OP of the issue, not always fun, I do however let a few slide depending on the nature/content of the posts, replies and where it was posted. No matter what you do, you will not make everyone happy.
  24. I have been trying to sell my Son's 1500 books (mostly 80's/90's, no real keys that I am aware of, the major keys were all sold individually) as a lot for $900.00 (.60 cents each) and all I have received is two offers of $500.00 (about .33 cents per book).
  25. How can you determine an "Honest Value" of the collection if you have no idea what cards are in the unopened packs? If I walked into a comic book store with boxes full of comics and said, "how much for all of these Marvel Comics, but you cannot look inside the boxes", what type of response would I get? If they are not going to be opened then you will need to come up with a FMV for bulk sales and sell them as lots with unknown content, you may want to check eBay "Sold Auction" listings for unopened packs of similar cards and see what folks are paying for them. From everything I have heard about late 80's/early 90's sports cards is they were mass produced and have very little value. There are a few Marvel Trading Cards from 1990 (91 and 92?) that may have some value, but again, you need to know what you have. Back about 15 years ago at a city wide yard sale my Sister was selling a complete/unopened 1989 Score Baseball Card Set, nobody wanted it, it ended up selling for $5.00 to a Dad and Son who walked by and said" for $5.00, why not?" Wishing you the best of luck on your sales. https://www.cardboardconnection.com/why-sports-cards-early-90s-worthless
