  1. This is one of the few threads that WAS flame-retardant.
  2. The cover art to Black Panther #8 is up for sale now on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3985&item=2292546315&rd=1
  3. Better not have been! I bought it from the artist (Mark Bright) in Nov 2001 for $300. I'd like to own the cover to #1 but Metropolis has it.
  4. One of my favorite Black Panther covers that I am fortunate enough to own... Black Panther #11 Cover by Bright
  5. Boo frickin' hoo. "I only have 9.2 copy of TOS 39!" Still, I can understand your loss at the Bethlehem copy.
  6. I was thinking the same thing! How these unsuspecting people were able to realize in seconds that they were being chased by Uklatrebb the Odorous is...well, a little mystifying. Ah, the magic and wonder of comics! Thanks to everyone for sharing the covers, too. Good stuff! You would think if they were that well-informed about the monster, they would be able to mount a better defense.
  7. Has anyone read the Alter Ego Halloween issues? Or Back Issue #6?
  8. Or my favorite.. Mother... I have a present for you in my diaper.. and I will tell you this.. it is not a toaster! "Damn you, vile woman! You've impeded my work since the day I escaped from your wretched womb."
  9. Great avatar! "And now you contemptible harpy, I shall end your oppressive reign of matriarichal tyranny"
  10. Kudos to DarthDiesel for my Spotlight #28 price variant... With a little something extra... You are the MAN! Let me know when you upgrade your 9.2.
  11. Interesting idea. I also think it would be interesting to take a Title, and see if we can build a complete run using only slabbed pedigrees. You have lots of Avengers pedigree books, so we start with #1 (someone post a pedigree), move to #2, and so on. Of course if Doug participates, he probably wouldn't need much help for many titles. Or we can just starting have a post thread dedicated to each different pedigree. Just show as many as we can, which would be nice as we make start seeing difference between them (i.e. some have better quality of production, page quality, yellowing, exceptional gloss, etc.). I'm a PEDIGREE ADDICT. One of my (many) collecting fantasies is to own a copy of one book (like FF48) in several different pedigrees. But, that would take a long time to put together.
