  1. Not a pressing candidate ... 1.8-2.0 ... if that's a 2.5, I'm sending in about 200 books I have in my "look-what-the-cat-dragged-in" box !
  2. Printer's crease does not affect grading (so we're told!!) ... 7.0-7.5 ... a press and clean might get it to an 8.0 on a really good day in Sarasota ...
  3. Whoever back in the day decided to take the color of the title lettering and place it around the eyes of the innocent dude about to get zapped was genius!! 4.0
  4. Just bought my first Planet from Rick (#46) ... excellent mid-grade copy ... Rick was kind and informative in our PM's that sealed the deal ... shipped fast, secure ... will be looking out for future sales thread!
  5. Anyone here old enough to remember this scene from The 7th Voyage of Sinbad? A Harryhausen classic, and an eerie connection to last night's revelation of the dragon slayer ...
  6. Anyone come across a sign like this before? I have a chance to buy one and was wondering how old it might be (assuming it had to appear sometime between 1962-1984) ... one side is rough, but the other side is not bad ... top of a spinner rack?
  7. I think that color break top right FC crease will keep it as an 8.0-8.5
  8. Waiting for pics: Black Goliath 1-5 complete Marvel Premiere lots, including Dr. Who 4 issue lot and a 12 issue lot.
  9. As I posted in another thread ... an early Trump cover ...
  10. Beats my raw beater ... but still luv to look at it ...
  11. No contest ... black background, 2 iconic characters about to set off a tremor that stunned the comic-covers world in the late 60's; just for the record, Noran makes contact with Thor before the Asgardian can connect with Mjolnir, knocking him arse over tea kettle ...
  12. About 1800 books, and would place its value somewhere between 15K-20K ...
  13. This Kudos, like high school library books, is very long overdue ... bought both books from Walt in Hamilton, and it was Peter @ Paradise Comics who brought them to get signed ... thx Pete!! I know the 122 was @ SDCC in 2011 ... can you confirm what show Stan would have signed the Surfer 4 at (arguably Buscema's best cover) in late January of 2012?
  14. Is there action happening at that top right front corner? Tear? Depression? Colour break crease going through the CCA stamp ... spine ticks evident ... these may keep it out of the 8.0 range, unless I'm seeing things that are not there ...
