Very interesting FF #37 I assume by the picture it has a big chunk out of the top left corner of the inner cover does it extend to the back of the inner cover? Wonder what caused this as I have some Silver Age ASM Double Covers with that problem it must be production related.

Yes I do believe so I have noticed several copies of Amazing Spider-Man #100 with Double Covers also ASM #312 seems to have several exaples and their is an Avengers issue "I think #87" that I have seen many Double and even a Triple cover of. I think DiceX is the one that said Static cling is the probable cause of Double covers so maybe books that were printed on very hot and dry days would have been much more likely to have this production flaw but thats just spectulation on my part.

Hey Charles I hate to tell you this but I was talking to gijoe about that quadruple cover comic that you got on ebay and he said that the seller had sold him some fakes a while back with multiple covers and that he figured that this one was probably fake too, hope he is wrong for your sake.
