  6. Soon soon! Been busy. Looking to buy a house soon, so I have completely cut off my buying recently. I'll probably liquidate some of my collection, but not the double cover ASMs yet. Can't part with those just yet. here is one I just got in .
  7. it is good to see some variant talk around hear again maybe this will get me in gear to finish my 30 cent set I just need 14 more now, it would be allot more if not for metarog and ShieldAgent thanks guys, also thanks to FD I just got my last Sgt. Fury Variant. Hay Darth do you have a extra TOD #20 now, if so any interest is selling it? Oh yea I did find a nice "Wild" Kid Colt #205 at the Knoxville TN. Adventure con. which I hope to go to again hear in about 9 days.
  8. He's had that one on several times for a few months now...for the same price too. Never any bids on it, but maybe luck will be on his side this time. That is not a completely unreasonable price given the price of 9.8s these days. Yea that seems to be one of the more common ASM issues with Double Covers I have seen at least 4 or 5 of them so I think that is a bit to high a price on that one and I have a nice CGC 9.4 which is good enough for me . Hay DCB when you going to post some more of your ASM DC's
  9. Nice Double Covers BlowUpTheMoon is that the same Superpro #1 that was on ebay last week, I almost bid on it because it had Spider-Man on the Cover
  10. Thanks for your help! Wow nice comic wormboy !
  11. Nice Double Cover X-Men & Kazar BlowUpTheMoon I think I read that someone found a Kazar #7 that had 7 covers on it somewhere on the net.
  12. What do you think it grades at? It looks nice. Thanks. I actually just received it from Kermits Pad. He graded it as NM. I think the front cover is 8.5-9.0 and the inside cover is 9.4. I have a group of pregrades I'm sending to CGC so I'm throwing it in. Hay Nostalgic Attic did you ever get that ASM #154 Double Cover back from CGC? how did it grade ? post a scan here if you can, and if by any chance you ever want to sell it I know a few board members who would love to have it.
  13. Nice Daredevil #175 BRNebraska we need to do some trading

I seem to remember that one does the CGC case have Price Variant/Double Cover on the top label also? I just picked up a nice ASM #60 Double Cover if anyone wants to see it I can post it up later.
  16. New addition to my ASM DC collection just came in, got it through a trade had to give up several DC and one TC to get it but I am very happy with the trade Anyone else got any ASM's they want to trade? I am also looking for Batman Double Covers to use in possible future trade .

I have had no luck at winning any myself lately , but I am working on a trade for a nice addition to my ASM DC collection and will post it as soon as I receive it . Anyone got any Batman Double Covers?
  18. Cool and I can not wait to see more of yours Did you have the ASM #129 graded yourself or did you buy it that way? Reason I ask is I have seen two copy's of that book with a double cover before one had been three hole puched and sold for about $50 on ebay kind of wish I had bid on that one but the holes bothered me. The other was listed on ebay several times as being NM and I think the guy's starting price was like $500 and the picture was not all that good I was just wondering if this is the one you have? Anyway very cool book and post some more.
  19. Wow nice bunch of Double Covers all, very nice Speed Buggy their nascar. DCB nice to see some of your Double Covers Very Cool Foil Double Cover Avengers and I like that Journey into Mystery #98 also but like everyone else I really, really like that ASM #129 we need to do some trading .
  20. I have never seen or even heard of one but I can't say for sure guess it is possible. I think they went from 9p to 10p in the UK during Marvel's 30 cent variant test in the U.S. .
  21. Nice Double Covers their IITravel . I emailed the guy with the ASM too and he said he would add more pictures
  22. It is nicer than the outer cover but I don't have any way to take a picture of it the camera I took pictures of some of my others with was one I barrowed from a friend.
  23. Hi; Chuck great to hear from you, I do consider you the "grandfather of variant collecting." and it is all your fault that I got into this variant collecting thing . Those variant auctions you ran on ebay a few years back where you sent out copies of those CBM articles to anyone interested were some of my first variants and is where I first learned that variants might exist for every Marvel comic printed during that time period. Soon after those auctions I was contacted by Darth with offers of trades on variants he needed and he pointed me to this Message Board with all kinds of cool stuff on Marvel Price Variants and I was hooked Well I did spend crazy money on the 35 cent set and still need some of the 30 centers but I will wait these out and will not spend crazy money on those so I think I have finally gotten over my obsession . I still want to finish the 30's some day and I am still obsessed with finding out where all the Test Markets were for the 35 centers, you wouldn't have any knowledge on this would you? You say you found a X-Men #106 in the 80's and then a Iron Fist #15 and then a X-Men #105 how earily in the 80's did you find these? Reason I ask is that these three were some of the first 35 cent variants to appear in to Overstreet price guide after the Star Wars #1 that is, did you have anything to do with that? And funny thing is that after Overstreet listed those in their price guide the next years guide they were gone . And yes it was always about the hunt for comics that might not even exist that fasinated me and where all the fun was in chasing the set .
  24. Very nice. Odd that they don't assign an interior cover grade. I guess when you have feral cats for employees, they don't have opposable thumbs to open up the pages. Yes that is different wonder if I broke it out and sent it to CGC if it might grade higher as the inner cover must be nicer, I guess theirs no way to know without actually doing it .
