  1. "Variant cover discussions"....HA! Yup.....completely agree with you, this place is very different since the upgrade---not sure why that is though. --wasn't tossing you under the bus btw, I had no idea about these preview editions at all or that you were even referring to them....I am guessing that most others don't know about them either---if they did, the books would definitely be heating up. Where/how did you acquire them?
  2. Thanks bud---! I had no idea that this was a Kickstarter book---very interesting. With regards to the Heavy Metal reference, I thought that the books were originally solicited from/through Heavy Metal....but there was a falling out of sorts---kind of like Atoll #1---that book was supposed to be from Heavy Metal, but the creators delayed things and went to Creative Mind Energy instead (or did they start this company?). Anyways.....with these two defections, it seems like the publishing arm of Heavy Metal is in disarray...
  3. You are correct---I am sorry for misquoting and that is entirely my fault as the message I was referring to was from Awax. My apologies for redirecting things your way---sorry about that Comicbookscalping. Hmmmm....I've never seen the advanced preview editions for any of these books at all---I didn't even know these existed. I thought the first preview edition of Heathen #1 would be in Fissure #1....clearly, I am wrong in my thinking here if there is an advanced preview edition....
  4. The card stock is nice....very good quality. I am impressed with this company so far....
  5. The post from comicbookscalping with reference to two new books from Vault comics; Colossi and and Failsafe
  6. Hmmm.....good point. I'm not sure if that was his/her original intent, but I was puzzled as to why it was posted in the first place under "Moderns Heating Up".
  7. I'm not sure what your point is.....they haven't been released yet. As for "pre-sales", well Vault is the newest player and they have very small print runs, but that doesn't necessarily translate into gold. Just check out their latest release, "Powerless". No pre-sales.....low print....no one cares...it's available for cover or less....
  8. I agree with both of you.....but I think this break between story arcs is a great addition rather than detraction. It all depends upon the end product, but if that "downtime" is used effectively, the stories are more cohesive with a lot less random noise to endure. Just like well done shows all have that "break"....some use it well, others, not so much. My fingers are crossed for both Seven to Eternity and Black Monday Murders....
  9. Agree---lean print run on this 1:25. Is anyone even reading SS by Slott anymore?
  10. I see what you did (and how you did)---thank you kindly! You eBay wizards frighten me dammit!
  11. Perhaps a noob or naive question here, but how can you tell if an actual sale took place on eBay (other than an auction listing or best offer accepted quoted)?
  12. .....and I am sure that I will be one of the purchasers involved----
  13. Couldn't agree more---some beauties all throughout this thread.
  14. I've never even seen one in person....nice find! I also was quite lucky this past week as I found not one, but two copies of Archie #271 AKA the infamous "pearl necklace" issue. Couldn't believe it....especially since they were in junk bins and were $.50 each. The books themselves might grade a 7 or 7.5, but the best thing is that the puzzles in the books are untouched --there are two of them---a word game and a maze puzzle. Feel very lucky indeed.....
  15. If there is no numbering or price or bar code, could this be an "insert" comic that was to go with a video game or game system?
  16. Take the Punisher raw lot as per PM.... Anybody sitting on the fence is going to miss out on these under-graded books. This is perhaps my 8th purchase from Projekt.....always more than happy. The last purchase I made was the complete Seven to Eternity raw set---so pleased with the result. Great books, great prices and great packing....
  17. Nice pick-Up Godquest----you won't regret it as he grades things quite conservatively. Fyi to other respective/potential buyers;. This is probably my 7th purchase from Gary (Projekt).... I keep buying from him because the prices are great and the grades I receive are outstanding. He said the Seven to Eternity set raws were NM and I will attest that that was the minimum grade I received. In fact, covers 1A and 1B are excellent candidates for CGC submission for 9.8 grades---POW! As such, I have ZERO purchase regrets.... Anyone on the fence can buy with confidence.....I have made 7 buys and I am batting 1,000---that's no coincidence.
  18. MCS ripping people off? Say it isn't so! You would never be able to tell from their self-published reviews!
  19. So very pleased to see this. Regardless of the speculation aspect, I can only think that real fans want a piece of the actual art. Smart on their part too---paying early to personally enjoy it as well as a possible price appreciation. The art can be so freaking good these days on these books---crazy! It's a good crazy! Just love to hear that art from the independants has a strong interest. Thanks for sharing!
  20. Wow! Those are impressive sales figures......only one page of original art left! Just.....wow!
  21. Take all of the 72E raws and Vision set as per PM---
  22. I've heard the first print run was 14,000, so it was very under-ordered. On top of that, there have been no ratio variants nor comic-con variants. Everyone really likes the project so far and whammo---we've got large price jumps that seem to be holding. I took a sizable chance on these for pre-order.....I should check out some other goodies I have and organize things for my very first sales thread on these Boards....
