Great pair of books, GLWTS!

Great 9.8...you're a brave soul for taking it on travels and cracking a 9.8 for a sig!

I suppose the answer to the OP is, as we've seen from this thread it depends on collector. For me:
Low = 0.0-3.5
Mid = 4.0 - 6.5
High = 8.0+
Problem is, what do I call 7.0-7.5? Seems too high to be called mid-grade, and too low to be called high-grade.

Tough spot - I just saw the thread now, after I had seen the pic of the slabbed book. I had assumed it was a bad press job as is. On one hand, I feel like it needs to be fixed in slab to present better. On the other hand, like others have mentioned, I wonder if any damage would occur.

Was this pressed?

Any other thoughts on if this book is worth the same as 7.0 without the missing piece notation on the label as the missing piece is accounted for in the grade?
Thanks!
My personal thought is it does impact it. Unless it presents much nicer than the same 7.0 would a note on the label, I think most people would prefer no notations. I personally do not own any blue label books with any notations (although I do have a cool ASM101 that the notation of "extra staples from manufacturing"...it's the cover where Spidey has 6 arms, so it's actually really apropos!).

I wouldn't, I'd guess they would almost always come back at the same or possibly lower.

Awesome book, Dan. I remember when you picked this up, beautiful book.

Wow, where is the drool smiley when you need it??

Historical it would have to be Green Goblin.

Congrats to both! Great set of books.

Some really iconic books - GLWTS!

I suppose the question is, do the Chinese collect similar art to the North Americans? If so, I can see the younger generation collecting comic book art for it's character, rarity, and asset value.

I also like ASM700 for around that price.

Awesome looking 9.0!

I have also only gotten well packed boxes from CGC. Either case, this shouldn't happen and they will make it right.

I would agree with adding Comiclink, I like the site navigation.

Interesting! Will have to check it out, thanks!
