  1. I'd be willing to bet he's turned down numerous offers on the Church Action 1 and the Allentown Tec 27. Just my opinion obviously, but highly likely given the fact they're the best known copies and it's common knowledge that he owns them. As to how much it would take for him to sell? I have no idea, but wouldn't be surprised if he wouldn't sell regardless of price offered. If I were him, presumably not in need financially, I wouldn't either. I'd imagine that after a certain amount, a ton of money is a ton of money, and further additions don't have much bearing.
  2. You didn’t hear about the warehouse find?
  3. This is different, as I know they're out there, could likely be bought for the right price, and it's a specific condition, but I'm having a hell of a time finding The Goon #1 (1999) in 9.8
  4. The dentist would probably fall into that category I'd imagine.
  5. Are you actually serious? That's beyond laughable coming from you. Like the invoice that shows the print run of your favorite variant? How about documentation of Voldy going bankrupt? You literally never have supporting documentation for your arguments.
  6. https://www.ebay.com/itm/X-Men-2-CGC-8-0-1963-1st-Vanisher-Wolverine-Key-Silver-Age-G11-213-cm-clean/292331485275?hash=item441050785b:g:blwAAOSwYVlaC90i https://www.ebay.com/itm/X-Men-2-CGC-7-5-1963-1st-Vanisher-Wolverine-Key-Silver-Age-G11-213-cm-clean/163060272727?hash=item25f7264e57:g:QTwAAOSwugha8SDk I searched the term and 2 books came back. Not sure what it means either, but I'd guess valiantman is correct in that it doesn't really mean anything to anyone besides the seller? Edited to add: The 2 books are from different sellers, but both are X-Men #2's. Strange indeed.
  7. I believe notes are free with books you submit yourself. I'd have another look at your submission and see if the link is there maybe?
  8. There's no harm in adding as many photos as you feel necessary. Did you receive graders notes?
  9. Where's the "Activity" button? Edit: Never mind, found it nested under "Forums"
  10. Nice screen name. I'm a Mopar fan myself, don't own one though. If you tell me it's a "70 Barracuda, I'll be quite jealous
  11. Definitive proof will come if they have a garage asset sale.
  12. My personal opinion to this part is no, I don't think it would be appropriate. As to selling the book, I'm not sure to be honest, but if I did, I would keep all communication on eBay in case there was a dispute later.
  13. One of my all time favorites, and among the best performances ever given on screen IMO. At least I used to think so anyway. I'll have to watch Skinned Alive now that @DR.X has brought it to my attention. Looks like it may be a contender. Not sure how it flew under my radar all these years.
  14. I'm not sure. But why did Ford create a game specifically for William at all? Why does he continue to communicate only with William?
  15. I think we will end up being surprised by William in the end. I believe the "goal" of Ford's game is for William to redeem himself and become more like his younger self. We can already see that he has changed his mind about things he once believed in when he tells Delos that he no longer thinks people should have the ability to live forever. That, coupled with him saving the innocents from the Confederados (yeah he said he wasn't being noble, but I'm not buying it) are just the beginning IMO. This would also make sense when taken with what Ford said to William through Lawrence's daughter, something along the lines of "If you're looking forward then you're looking in the wrong direction." I took this to mean something like "look back to the man you once were, and away from what you've become."
  16. Well played Sir. It's a huge pet peeve for me as well.
