  1. Seems like they borrowed heavily from the plot of Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai for this episode.
  2. I don't disagree that it was likely the weakest thus far, but what do you mean about them not being able to help themselves? Honest question.
  3. I think the very early stuff was worse personally, but not sure it really counts because the character hadn't evolved yet.
  4. Hi Scott, I think what Roy is referring to is: When you get a notification that someone has sent a PM, and you click on the bell icon (not the envelope), then click on "So and so sent you a message", it doesn't bring you to the message they just sent. Instead, it brings you to the first page of the PM thread.
  5. Off topic but I almost forgot about Ozark, and agree it's a brilliant series. One of the best I've seen in a long time. Thanks for reminding me. Now off to look up when it comes back.
  6. I also prefer the Blue Beetle 52 with the gorgeous colors over the long acknowledged BB 54. All great books, and I don't have the privilege of owning any of them, but I like 49 better than both
  7. No problem at all It was over a year at least. Past the point where I could change it myself anyway, but I'm not sure if there's a cutoff where they won't do it.
  8. If you report your first post and ask the mods to change the thread title, they'll do it for you. I did it with my official boxing thread (It had so few posts I didn't want to start a new one each year)
  9. What do you mean Holly, I'm not sure I understand the question? This is the thread where we talk about everything related to the show. What's happened, what we think will happen etc.
  10. If you're submitting books with the hope of getting a 9.9, you'll be disappointed. No offence meant, and the books you've posted seem to be in good condition, but 9.9s are very rare and must have that "je ne sais quoi". I'm just not seeing that here.
  11. Or perhaps you have thin skin and can't take a joke? Lighten up.
  12. That's highly recognizable with that extreme front cover/spine back-wrap if they should so happen to bust it out or re-sub it! Not a whole helluva' lot of 181s have that #2 of the 25 cents starting o creep around the spine. Copies folded like that will stand out for closer matching characteristics. Also, the red ink present in the white of the "K", above to comics code logo could help identify it as well. I'll keep an eye out, and I really hope it turns up.
  13. DNA make up/bio information for cloning? Plans to a Death Star like weapon?
  14. I loved the episode overall, but I have to admit, I thought the flying salute was pretty lame. 100% agree with the rest of your points though.
  15. yup.. thanks for explaining. Sorry if it was hard to understand. Punctuation and capitalization are important. Especially capitalization. It can mean the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.
  16. Guaranteed estimates That's a new concept to me. Way to go CGC!
  17. You avoid them like the sticky deposit on teeth in which bacteria proliferate?
  18. I vote no. If I don't want spoilers about a movie or a show, I just don't go in the thread. Still haven't ventured into the Joker thread because of this. You just have to look to our own species for your answers. Human young are helpless for a very lengthy time compared to other species. How old would a child have to be to survive on it's own back in the "cave men" days? 10 years old? Less? More? Humans evolved and survived despite having helpless young by having superior intelligence as protection against predators. We built shelter, weapons, stayed in family units etc. Predators didn't pick off human babies (well, surely some did) because they weren't left to fend for themselves. As far as Yittle (that's what I call him) is concerned, I doubt the force is the only protection that would normally be afforded to his species. I assume he would have had parents to protect him, but was taken from them and cared for by some kind of guardian. The only way his species would have to survive predators as infants would be if the parents abandoned their young before they were mature enough to survive on their own, and I personally don't think that's the case here.
