apologize if this has already been answered. With the change in CGC's return shipping, where are we for those submissions where the form was filled prior to the change in the price of return shipping. Will those be shipped with USPS or will there be a refund?

On top of that all orders >8 months will fall off the submission tracking. While can still (sort of) look up manually using submission number it would be nice if the orders not yet completed stays in the submission tracking until 1-2 weeks after shipped

well 50-100 is def larger than 25-50 books - but taking that aside - it is funny that TAT went up at the time CGC started doing the private signings - which funny enough are guaranteed 6 weeks TAT for grading and 8 weeks TAT for grading and pressing. In order to make these guaranteed TATs for grading of private signing - guess how that impact the TAT for non-private signing submissions

they do need a compensation for being brits!

Don't think submitters of 25-50 books are the reason. More like the 3-5 signing events CGC is announcing every week and which get grading priority TAT on economy is now 11 months

standard submission - currently 115 business days and counting. i have contacted CGC a couple of times. both times - it looks odd- let us investigate and get back to you - followed by cricket

CGC is currently processing registration of submissions received week of 2/22. So need to add 1 month TAT to non-same day/express submissions

Just to conclude this one. After claim was made, USPS miraculous found the parcel in the PO 2.5 months after it was “lost” in the same PO, so in the end got the books and didn’t go through the entire process

Before when a not delivered case was opened, if you paid on your own - eBay would not step in and assist with buyer refunding. Your other choice was to not agree and let eBay refund in which case you could appeal and win if tracking showed delievered within 30 days thereafter. however, eBay changed the policy without letting anyone know - now the requirement is that the tracking needs to show delivered before eBay closes the case. Thanks for the advice but i have already filed a case with USPS. Package has been missing for 2 months and I have had several contacts with USPS so pretty sure it will not make much difference.

Shipping was USPS registered - only option available from CGC. CGC will use the declared value when you submit your books for the insurance with the courier. However, seems like submitter in the end need to substantiate the value in a form acceptable to USPS. Basically, CGC just serves as the middle man passing info.

I agree but that is not how CGC seems to operate, I think they differentiate between books lost while in their possession and while lost with courier. when if their possession they will probably assess based on FMV but if lost while with courier seems like they are putting all responsibility back to the submitter.

USPS lost the registered package of my submission from CGC. the package was insured but this is the mail CGC sent me. Any advice from anyone who have been through the process?

It really depends where you live. Lately USPS Portland, OR best to avoid. Lost 2 boxes now upon arrival to USPS Portland. One from CGC - one from MCS.

depends how far you wish to take it. If clear from the picture and listed in the text - ebay may be siding with you....but is it worth it?

If you have a shop on ebay - the FVF has a cap - also before Managed payment
