I have my copy of the book. It is worth the read if interested in history. Other than that it is just a person’s opinion. Another person could counter argue. But you have to take yourself back to a time where book/papers were the main source of information. so if you see a person with the head chopped off - will you think that is ok to do or are you able to separate reality from fictions.

+ if buyer requests eBay will remove the fb as giving negative comment as positive feedback to a buyer is against eBay policies.

Yes - file it beforehand (but only if you truly believe the person has committed mail fraud). PayPal will forward the police report to the credit card issuer. the credit card issuer will normally disregard the information. However, PayPal may reimburse you once the case has settled by the credit card issuer in buyers favour, as you have demonstrated that it is not a not as described case, but a matter of fraud. this is why paypal’s Fees are high. They do in general treat sellers much better than ebay
