A few pictures from this past weekend.

A few Shazam #4 books signed at Fan Expo Canada by Jim Lee, Zachary Levi and Dale Eaglesham on their way to CGC.

Also, the back cover to Badassical #2 (Collette Turner and John Fleming) to add to my OA front cover.

I will take the Dark Phoenix cover.

Nice! BWS is one of my favorite signatures... which in it's earlier form, often matched his art style.

A recent online purchase of some really nice copies (that appear to never have been opened).

This is one of the highlights of my collection.... The original cover of Mr. and Mrs. X  #1  (KRS Comics) by Mike Mayhew plus the painted preliminary cover and the only 9.8 Blue on the CGC Registry. Apparently, most of the books were damaged on delivery.....which is a shame since this is such a great cover.

From what I understand, there is no Fourth printing of Love and Rockets #1 from Fantagraphics Books. So the question was ... why does this cover look so different? It appears to be without yellow ink on most of the front cover. The back has yellow almost up to the spine and the other colors do not appear sun faded compared to the adjacent 5th printing. The browns become purple, the greens become blue, the reds become pink, but the blues stay their vibrant color. Thoughts?

@Rich_Henn has listed in the past that he was planning on facilitating that show.

It appears as though there was no 4th Printing... so mystery solved.

The cover without yellow is a Fifth Printing. On one hand, I was disappointed not to find the elusive Fourth Printing. On the other hand, this book appears to have it's cover printed without yellow ink (except in one tiny spot on the right).

So, here they are....all in one photo (I do have better copies of a few, but this is the only photo in existence with all 5 printings).

I have never seen or even heard of a potential L&R #1 4th Printing.... but this could be the one. I find it hard to believe that the cover would fade in some areas, but not others. The price is the same as the posted 5th edition.  

I will add a prize.
