I am a big Love and Rockets fan. Mario, Gilberto and Jaime Hernandez were huge pioneers in the Indy/Small Press Comics movement. Here are the three printings of this 1982 #1 issue.... perhaps the first time these books are shown in the same image.  The First printing is somewhat smaller than the other two. The 6.0 CGC is the highest graded of the third printing (there is one other 4.5 copy).

I have been looking for this one for a while. The Third Printing of Love and Rockets #1 (1982) has been just so hard to find. There is this one and a 4.5 as the only CGC graded. The first printing has a $2.95 price and the second printing is $3.50. If you have a nicer raw copy that you are willing to part with, please let me know!

The last 9.8 s/s Shatner went for $280. I am adding the 3 nicest copies that did not make 9.8 pre-grade. With a press, most could be 9.8s (I bought these on release).

An update on one of my favorite Batman/Joker covers by Frank Kadar. I was excited to be able to add Ben Affleck's signature to the front. Next up, is a sketch for the back cover.

My one and only Barry Windsor-Smith signed book. This Epic Illustrated #16 cover was done as an original painting titled "Icarus". Also, this Windsor-Smith signature is "sort of" close to one of my favorite renditions (shown below).

Here is the back cover addition to the Frank Kadar cover from these boards. I know the original passed through a few hands before me, so I wanted to give an update before going back to CGC.

I just received confirmation from Gotham Central Comics and Collectibles that they will have a booth and will be willing to facilitate to CGC. Just check with them prior to any signings.

There are a number of collectors that prefer newsstand editions. I can appreciate both sides of the topic. For me, I do like the Newsstand over the Spidey for some Bronze issues. This Avengers 196 is my favorite book to cite in this discussion. At higher grades, very few are available in the Newsstand format. If you look for a 9.8 copy of this anywhere..... it will likely be a direct edition. 

Of course, this is one of my favorite covers!  The greens on this book are wonderful.

Wow! There are still some prizes available that were near the top of my list!! Thank you to everyone (especially the coordinators) for a really fun contest!  

I am pleased that @1Cool did not select his own prize since it was #1 on my list this morning.

I love Ty's work...I just never have the time or the nice blanks to have him do covers. Great pick up!

Bump to the first page... those of us who are out should still donate!!  I advocate that a few leftover prizes after a certain bracket level be randomly given to participants who have played and donated.
