  1. I wouldnt trust the shipping prices they have listed. Those are only estimated prices and you are still responsible for whatever price the ACTUAL shipping cost ends up being.
  2. If you dont get anything in 6 months, start getting concerned.
  3. At least another 8 weeks if youre lucky. See link above for details on timelines.
  4. Dont call the seller names if you dont want to insult them. Otherwise offer what you want, you may get ignored or they say no dice. ex of a bad offer: Hey you stupid turd, how about I give to $200 for that hulk 181 you have and you can thank me for also not screwing your wife/girlfriend/mother. ex of a good offer: Hi, Would you consider x dollars for x book. Thanks for your consideration.
  5. Grades are for the entire book not just the cover, so lesson learned.
  6. Yeah, it can take what seems like FOREVER for them to update the status. Give it 2-4 weeks before getting concerned.
  7. Yep, CGC will apply the credit before they charge your card. It would hurt to include a message on the invoice stating you want to use your credit.
  8. No, but if you grade two of them you can flip one over and put them side-by-side
  9. I think we can chalk one up to "rage quit" as well. Bound to be followed up more dumb comments.
  10. Oh, that is new then. My last submission was a couple of months ago. I do have a another submission going in soon, curious to see when I'll get charged now. Will report back.
  11. Whats the spread for "doubling down on comments" and "superiority complex comments"
  12. I make notes of the books I send in with the defects I see and what I think is the grade. Then compare with what I get back. Its a good learning tool if you arent able to send for pre-screening or if the books are older and you know its not going to get a 9.8
  13. Yes its normal you'll probably have to wait longer before seeing updates online. They dont charge you until the books are almost ready to be shipped back. If they are getting pressed you will get charged once they are pressed. They might charge you multiple times if shipping is more than originally quoted.
  14. You dont get charged until the books are getting ready to ship back to you. So even though you enter payment info for the invoice online nothing happens for a while. As for the credit, they will apply it before charging the payment method. Doesnt hurt to add a comment to use credit when finalizing online.
  15. If you want more practice, I could use a samurai batman sketch.

I love the BCW plastic boxes for graded books. A bit of a pain to assemble but incredible sturdy and stackable. I have mine stacked 3 high so far. There is a little wobble, but thats probably since they are on carpet or maybe since they are in California.
  17. I have no idea what he is complaining about, first it was about mixed tiers and now its about the creator agreement?
  18. Yes! Such a HUGE difference will damage the tender page fibers. The room should be 66F and only 2% humidity. You should look to hermetically seal the room as well.
