  1. Honest opinion. No trolling. I thought Wonder Woman was very underwhelming. And what does Star Wars have to do with this? Look at my post history, I've never even made a post about Star Wars movies... Fyi I enjoy DC more than marvel. I love batfleck and hope Justice League is well done.
  2. Just watched this for the first time. The movie was horrible. Wonder Woman was miscast; Gal Gadot does not have good acting skills. Don't get me started on her physique. When did Wonder Woman get chicken legs? Chris Pine carried the acting. The movie was slow paced the first 2/3 acts. Gadot's jumping/leaping scenes were cringe worthy. The theme music was too sparse. It felt misplaced whenever it played.
  3. Very cool. For some reason it reminds me of the Alien franchise movies. Maybe because I recall the ships/buildings had things dangling down from the wall/ceiling pipes.
  4. A 9.0 OW/W just went for $3,555 on CLink tonight Did I miss something? I thought 181 at 9.0 was still a 3k - 3.3k book. http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FDEFAULT.ASP%3FFocused%3D1%26x%3D20%26y%3D10%26pg%3D143%23Item_1200703&id=1200703&itemType=0
  5. To get you in the Halloween mood. Do cancellations count?
  6. Mail call! Thanks @jimjum12 for parting with this one. You're my huckleberry.
  7. That looks sleek and nice. I've been having trouble finding a file cabinet to store slabs. Would not prefer to have card board boxes in my office.
  8. I enjoy all three of these pieces for different reasons. I'm unfamiliar with the artists, and have never read mouse guard or deadworld. If these came up in an auction I'd wouldn't hesitate to bid on any of these. The deadworld in particular!
  9. I bought a book off eBay and when it arrived I received a nice little surprise. The seller is an artist and sketched a ghost rider bust on the back of the back board. Since then, I looked up the artist and commissioned a piece. The artist is J. Christopher Schmidt and look forward to my piece! http://artisticschmidt.myfreesites.net/ https://mobile.twitter.com/artisticschmidt
  10. I agree with all sentiments that heroes are more valued than villains. However 181 was more undervalued between the two. I think all the rumors of movies have really boosted 181 to a good place right now.
  11. That's about the nicest 5.5 I've ever seen
  12. Natwa!!! I commissioned a Harley & Poison Ivy piece from him last year. Easy to communicate with and great dude! Here's his instagram for more of his work: https://www.instagram.com/natwa/?hl=en
  13. Wow, what a stand up guy. I don't own any of your work, but have always enjoyed seeing it. To post here to fans and to be as transparent as possible says a lot about your character.
  14. Hopefully we'll get some Mattina sketches posted in the next few weeks. He's supposed to be done with a few by NYCC.
  15. Annnnnnd that's what happens when you don't pull the trigger! (pun intended). I've been thinking about this cover for days, and went to post the ole takeit emoticon this evening. What a cover.
  16. Do you think they were digitally added? If you look at the original, the brushstrokes(?) are seen through wonder woman's cape and sword. On the convention version, I don't see the strokes through the orange flames. Looks as if they were added over the original via digital technique.
