Picked this up earlier in the month. Three years ago I may have gone for a 9.6 or 9.8, but my collecting habits have changed. I just wanted a copy so I’m okay with this placeholder at the moment.

This is a very good sentiment. With all that is going on in the world today, especially in the US regarding police brutality, it will be harder and harder to market army/military toys to children. Some parents may associate Joes with war/violence. I think there will always be some market for glorified army/military cinema, but would not be surprised if Joe collectibles are aimed towards adults rather than kids.

Fantastic Four Annual #1 9.8 in Comiclink May auction was a 9.6....

Not that I agree with the OP, but to play devil’s advocate, I’ve seen people get upset when a restored book has had restoration removed and resubmitted for a blue label and the removal was not disclosed by the seller. Is that different? Where is the line drawn? Food for thought. -
Watched this last night with my wife, and we both enjoyed the film. I went into it with low expectations and think that was key for me enjoying the flick. The fight scenes were fun; some of them were over the top comic bookish and reminded me of John Wick or Kill Bill. I'd say overall the acting and story were mediocre. If you go into the movie with an open mind and not expecting the best movie of this genre you might like it. I enjoyed it for what it is: a campy comic book movie.

You could try googling modern keys and probably find a list. I consider the following modern keys, but most fall outside the years you listed. Batman Advenres 12 Walking Dead 1 Spawn 1 Saga 1 Nyx 3 New Mutants 98 Also, this would probably get more replies if posted in the Modern forum.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Is anything wrong with the current cases? Cracks or major scuffs? If no then personally I wouldn't worry about reholdering.

I really enjoy the 29 cover, especially the zebras. It reminds me of the movie Swiss Family Robinson for some reason. Great pick ups! -
I agree it will hit $400k or over. A 9.0 hit $415K around this time last year on CLink. With regard to taxes, yes it's enforced, below is a link. However if someone is spending ~$400k on a book, I don't think a 10% sales tax will deter them. https://www.comicconnect.com/load_page.php?page=SalesTax

This was an excellent pickup. From the colors popping and down to the details in the pachyderms. Grats!

Compared to SA Marvel keys that have exploded in price over the last two years, I think you did quite well. Great book and grade! In 1-2 years if Warner/DC can put out a decent Batgirl flick I think we'll see a nice up tick in this book.
