  1. …and his guest, Jorge Molina
  2. Watching the David Finch livestream on YouTube
  3. I think this is a reasonable and beneficial to both sides, not only from a financial standpoint but a learning experience for both when it comes to buying/selling
  4. One of the first storylines I read as a kid and still brings back memories of better times when I actually looked forward to the next month’s issue that lead to the Carrion stories
  5. Something I had stashed away until I re-bagged/boarded today
  6. Personally, I may send one if I think the buyer is genuinely interested with how reasonable I perceive their offer to be but it’s rare as most are typical low ballers looking to flip the book you’re selling or tire kickers that have nothing better to do than waste someone else’s time. With all the fees involved, I prefer not to enable the “make offer” button because the majority of the time, bidders don’t take them into consideration and feel insulted if you don’t entertain them. Luckily, I’m not desperate to make sales so I have no problem if they decide to kick rocks. I honestly don’t see the point of the make offer button if you’re willing to sell at a lower price. I actually prefer to “send offer” if I see enough people watching my items.
  7. Yes, it was but the overall movie was entertaining. He could’ve been left out of the whole movie and it wouldn’t make much of a difference. Still, I’d give the movie an 8/10 as far as mcu films go
  8. Doesn’t surprise me since you don’t think eBay’s TOS don’t apply to you either
  9. As a longtime fan of Miller’s work, I’m a little less critical of his stuff nowadays since learning of his declining health issues and chalk it up to him preferring to earn a paycheck as opposed to a gofundme or seeking handouts/charity. We all know what he was once capable of. I wish him nothing but the best
  10. Well, since the question pertains to your situation where the seller is expected to be Mr. Nice guy, it shows how you feel entitled to being not only the one to come out ahead but everyone should take your side for not doing your own due diligence. Check mate. ….and since you brought up the grader issue, did you have the book cleaned and pressed too? I think the seller could bring this up to eBay in their next discussion (whether you did or didn’t) as a defense to how many hands the book passed through before the dispute was activated
  11. Only within the TOS timeframe. If I miss that window, that’s on me. As stated before, I would hope the op and seller could reach some resolution but at this point, he’s really under no obligation to the buyer anymore and it’s more a question of whether or not he wants to be a “nice guy”.
  12. Wow, he was so good in the fiew things I’d watched him in over the years. RIP
  13. Maybe because a lot of us would’ve A) inspected our purchase B) handled the dispute within the allotted timeframe
  14. The tv sitcom could make a huge comeback with something like this
  15. I have a question since the subject of “doing the right thing” on the seller’s part seems to come up here: Since you didn’t inspect the book before sending it off, let’s say the grading worked in your favor where the book graded higher than expected or turned out to be a double cover error, would you: A) Flip the book and send a seller a portion of the profit? B) Return the book and ask the seller for a refund because he should’ve charged you more? C) Celebrate coming out ahead? I am in the majority consensus that the seller should work with you on a mutually satisfying resolution but if I were in his shoes, I’d be a tad aggravated that a sale I made long before the refund window was being disputed long after that business had been conducted.
  16. Great pickup. I’ve always loved this book and have had multiple copies over the years as it was the first of the fireside tpbs that I owned as a kid and eventually fell apart from the many times I read it or just browsed the artwork over and over again.
  17. I felt the same way; the tear just made it worse for me
  18. Why, thank you, kind sir. It was one of many books I purchased to practice with but I still have a ways to go.
  19. My copy was similar to copy B and cleaned up nicely with a spine correction that allowed me to flip it for a nice profit. If you plan on cracking the slab, I think yours could get a grade bump too
